    Good Morning Stacers!

Wanted to share this. I have a book of daily meditations that I read every morning. It is so appropriate for me today.

"We have seen to much defeatism, too much pessimism, too much of a negative approach. The answer is simple: if you want something very badly, you can achieve it. It may take patience, very hard work, a real struggle, and a long time; but it can be done...faith is a prerequisite of any undertaking..." ~Margo Jones

        Morning all!

Last night started feeling like doo-doo. This morning I think I have what my kids had - yuck...Headache, sore throat, overwhelming feeling of crappiness....Super.

Suppose to go on Date day with my oldest today. Will have to be later in the day though - Hubby has a meeting with some potential buyers for the liquor store - I can't wait to unload that sucker! It's been a blessing and a curse for years...

I am up 3 lbs from my low - WTH? I'm pretty ticked off about it. I haven't done anything different, other than eating coconut oil - could that be the reason for my gain? Doesn't seem right.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!!

Good morning everyone. Gotta go grocery shopping and do errands today. Maybe I'll squeeze in a walk before it gets too cold tomorrow. Have a great weekend.

            hi yall,
off for a long walk. MIGHT try to run about a mile, but do not want to stir up the knee problem so will try to convince myself to follow doctor's orders and no running until friday!!! happy with way clothes are fitting, am now buying size 8 pants which are a tad tight still but wearable. i cannot spend ANY more money on 10's as they will soon not fit!! but running out of options for work, only have bout 10 pairs of work pants that fit well. any of you have this problem when dropping sizes?

All my work pants are either 14's or 10's the 10s too tight but the 14s i can barely keep up with a belt. I have a few pairs of 12s in jeans and i have been wearing them to work. But i don't like it. I like to dress nice but right now i have no money for such things. I am going to the thrift store today so maybe i will see if i can't find some slacks for cheap.

                  Re: Roll Call 2/09 Saturday

                  Morning, all.

Had a great abs workout last night, as well as biceps, so I thought I'd be in a lot of pain today, but no. Just aware of the muscles, but not in agony.

I'm 200 today, and I'm wondering if I'll get down to 195 anytime soon. TOM is gone, I'm still on antibiotics, my eating is exactly the same, I'm working out. I was as low as 197 a few weeks ago, and although I could account for 1 lb as muscle gain, the rest is not. <shrug>

I'm going to spend much of today doing work on my thesis and an independent study project. Gotta get this thing in rough draft form by the middle of March. I swear, I cannot WAIT to be done! I'll be seeing the chiropractor in the late afternoon, and then have a good long workout - I want to do at least 45 min of cardio today, since I only did 20 min yesterday.

Colleen - nah, the coconut oil wouldn't accoutn for the gain - it's gotta be related to the "doo doo " feeling - lots of weird fluey things going around. The one I enjoyed most this week was intense nausea with no vomiting. Sheesh!

I'm with y'all on the pants. Some of my 14s fit, and the 16s are all so loose that I can only wear them once before washing them again. Not spending a dime on clothing right now, so...........I'll just enjoy the feeling of transition!

                    Good saturday afternoon STAC crew!

Work is in overdrive mode right now, we're pretty much on call 24/7 for the next 4 weeks while this huge project finishes up. If we get it done however, my bonus promised by the CTO should be enough to put a jacuzzi in, so it'll be worth it.

It's playing wonky with my workout schedule, but I'm ok with it, eating right, trying to get some isometrics in and doing morning and night stretching in the house along with some pushups and crunches so I don't stagnate!

I'm with ya on the thrift store thing, Susan. It is crazy to go spend a lot of money on new clothes that are not going to fit ya for long. When I reach my goal weight... that is when I am going to go crazy shopping!

                        Re: Roll Call 2/09 Saturday

I find that I'm "cheap" with clothes, not wanting to buy more things that fit now because I know eventually they'll be too big! So usually I buy smaller, meaning I wear some tight clothing every now and then. It seems that I'm between sizes a lot--the bigger size looks frumpy or sloppy, and the smaller size a bit too tight for my liking.

Colleen--it could be that you are allergic/sensitive to coconut. Food intolerances manifest themselves in many ways. You don't have to be in pain to be sensitive to something. Sore throat, bloating, sneezing, gas, nausea, cramps, weight gain, etc. are ALL symptoms of an individual food intolerance. When I eat coconut, I immediately get a sore throat, but when I eat jicama, I get horrible intestinal cramps 30 minutes later. So even within the same person, sensitivities can show up in different ways.

                        -------------------

I am sooooooo happy to see a nice skinny 173 pop up on the scale today! That's 1.5 pounds down from last week, and today's only my 3rd day on the KISS plan. I have actually been feeling worse here and there, but I know that's the yeast beginning to die off and it's releasing toxins. Only 1.5 more weeks and I'm going to re-test and begin adding foods again.

                        Have a great night, STACers!

It's Saturday evening, but I'm still here Good day today. I'm eager for next friday - tom will be gone and I should have dropped a few.

I disappointed somewhat with some pants I recently bought. Just what I was looking for and the price was GREAT. They are already getting very baggy on me... I'm happy, yet sad LOL I just cannot be pleased LOL

Foods good. Hubby grilled chicken tenders wrapped in bacon on the grill. Heaven! The kids gobbled them up. I had cole claw on the side and they had beans.

I know what you mean! I have a pair of jeans I just love that are slowly but surely getting quite baggy. I'm elated that I'm losing weight but a good pair of jeans is hard to find! I just have to keep telling myself that when I'm my goal weight I will be able to find a lot of clothes that I like the way I look in!
