    We are all so lazy, lol. It's 7:20 pacific time and nobody has started a roll call thread. I was on at 5:30, but since there wasn't one up, I signed off instead of starting it!

    So this morning I woke up weighing 197 again, and I feel as lean as I did yesterday at 200. But I feel good about getting down the scale a bit, as I seem to have been up forever during TOM and bladder infection.

    This is a short week for me, as there is no school on Friday or Monday (WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!). I'm looking forward to some intensive work with my students, and also a fun Valentine's party. I think I'll be able to resist the treats and sweets no problem, since I am deep in ketosis and have absolutely no desire to cheat. I can always make myself some chocolate mousse in the evening, after all!

    My goal this week is to increase the time I spend doing cardio. I've been going anywhere from 20 min (not often) to 45 (only once) and I want to make sure I do 45 min on the days I don't do weight training, and 30 min on the days I do.

    It's a beautiful morning here in Escondido. I'm wearing a pink cardigan (size L!!!!!) but I'm sure it will come off pretty soon.

    Good morning!

    A cardigan? It's 6F here this morning! I'm home with ds whose school is closed due to yesterday's blizzard and home with dd who has a fever. I really don't mind staying in again today. Brrrrr.

    I'm up a couple of pounds today, but I'm sure it's due to a little, uh, accident, with some smoked almonds yesterday. I know, I know, I should have learned by now. I'll make a point of drinking a lot today.

      Evermind, congrats on the 197!

      Geez, I'm jealous of your beautiful day. It's been snowing all weekend and it's freezing here in Montana.

      Hehehehehe, my fitness goal is the opposite. I'm going to try to get in 4 strength training days a week. Monday will be upper body, Tuesday will be lower body, Thursday will be full-body toning (using the stability ball and bosu to balance with weights), and Saturday is my strength training class which is full-body as well. I feel like my body responds better when I do more strength training.

      TOM will be here, so I'm feeling a wee bit bloated, no weigh-in for me this week! (Unless something happens by Saturday that leaves me feeling oh-so-svelte.)

        Feeling kinda blah, today. It was a busy weekend. My band won 3rd in the Battle of the Bands, which is actually very awesome because that means instead of getting money, we get to open for ANY national band that comes to Virginia! So we'll be waiting for a good one to come around.

        I'm still the same weight. =( Hoping that more fat is being lost at least, but I've really no idea.

          Thankfully, I'm down a half a pound today. I weighed for motivation because something I ate yesterday knocked me out of ketosis today. The stick was 100% negative this morning. I almost pigged out since I'm not in ketosis anyways. But, I found my willpower and I told myself that I wasn't going to gain back what I just lost and that if I didn't eat any bad carbs then I might get by without going through induction flu. Plus, I figured that I would go back into ketosis faster and be back on track. I think I ate too much yesterday even though I ate exactly 20g of carbs. I had the munchies in a bad way, but I stayed almost completely legal. I drank some of this Diet Cherry Chocolate Dr. Pepper that my mom bought by accident and then gave it to me. It had caffeine in it. I'm assuming that was the culprit. I only drank a little bit of it and then I gave the rest of it to the kids. Ohh, and I'm doing a recovery week of P90X in preparation to start it next monday. I did YogaX this morning and it kicked my butt!

          Evermind - How do you make that chocolate mousse?? It sounds so yummy! I think I'm going to need something to tide me over this week. I told DBF NOT to get me any candy on Valentine's. I told him that he should just get me a book that I've been wanting, but he got mad and said that Valentines was about candy, flowers, cards, etc...not "presents". I bought my kids those tiny $1 boxes of candy that they'll eat up in less than ten mins and the plan is to slowly sneak them mine as a little treat while hes at work. Now I just have to figure out what to do about the big expensive restaurant that we have to eat at with his parents every year on that day. I can already tell that the 14th is going to be a rough day for me.

            Morning fellow STACers!

            Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had my first session with a trainer yesterday and ended up with some quite sore arms and upper back . Scale wasn't so cooperative this morning, but since the pants I'm wearing feel so much looser I couldn't care less about the scale, lol. I'm going out of town for the weekend starting Thursday night and have so much to do before then, eek!

            Duchess--Congrats on finishing 3rd! That does sound like a better prize than money too.

            Bean--Should tell your BF that you thought V-day was about being in love, not material things at all! hehe Good luck at the big dinner.

              Hi Everyone...Popping in to say Hi and that I have been soooooooooo busy.. I am working two jobs right now and I have like NO time.. Going to get back on track soon once I get a routine going.. I am feeling blah and tired ALL the time!

                Morning everyone! Bitter cold and f...f....f....freeeeezing here today! it was -29 last night, and my dog could care less! LOL. he want's his long walks anyway. i covered my face witha scarf lastnight and it actually froze solid frommy breath. doesn' help that the day before it was mild, a big melt had started so now everything is a sheet of ice.

                Good thing is my back is feeling better! My new treadmill is still sitting in the dining room, inthe box, so hopefully i'll be able to get it put together now this week.

                TOM is onthe way, I don't really keep track but remember that last month i was bloated the same week as Julirama so since she's bloated, i'm bloated too! Thanks for the reminder Juli LOL. that would explain my insatiable chocolate cravings lately!

                  Here and accounted for! Not near enough water this weekend - that's my downfall.blah!

                  Hubby took us out to eat and i had a sweet tater and now i think i'm out of ketosis. time to load up on veggies

                    Good afternoon everyone! I've been so busy this morning so I'm just logging on now. Had a great weekend! I went for a hour and a half walk in my neighborhood on Saturday. Other than it being windy, it was very nice. I wasn't even tired. I went out to eat a few times this weekend and stayed on plan. I dropped another pound so I'm now at 15 pounds gone forever! I'm halfway to my first goal. I didn't do much yesterday except watch tennis (again with the wind) and worked on the computer. I have a project to complete for my step-daughter's school on the 19th so I've got to put in extra time to finish it this week.

                    I almost had a mich ultra on Saturday to celebrate my "mini goal" at the half way mark. I did resist because I didn't want to throw anything out of wack. I'm happy that the will power kicked in. My co-workers and I went for a short walk today at lunch. We only did 30 minutes. I could have walked for another hour so I'll have to do something tonight to get the extra miles in.

                    I hope you all have a wonderful day! Regardless of the weather, it's a beautiful day!

                      Good Morning,

                      Doing great so far. The ticker isn't moving but I am feeling better and that is the main thing to me. I just have to keep telling myself to "work the program dummy" and it will work for me.

                      Sandy it is good to see you. I was thinking about you the day before yesterday and missing your posts. Glad to see you here.

                        Hey everyone - finally checking in at 2. Weight is the same - no biggie.

                        Had to take a friend's hog up to the processor today and it was a pain in the TUSH getting into the trailer. So instead of being back by about noon - we just got home. I'm going out to dinner tonight to celebrate what would have been my father's 80th b-day with my mom and brother - should be ok... it's just cold

                          I'm lazier because I've been logged in/out since 6:30am and.. I didnt even remember to LOOK for a rollcall post! =D Go team Brittney!

                          Its definately not that cold here in McKinney/Dallas this morning. Hazy, cloudy, a bit gray. Though, as I'm slowly learning by being a new resident here, they DO mean the saying: If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait an hour!

                          The other day, I went to work at 8:30am and it was already in the mid 70's and muggy. By 2pm, my husband was calling me in shock - it was hailing outside! LOL. So we're adjusting to this "bring a tank top, bring a parka" scheme North TX has going for it. Its fun, though!

                          Since I just restarted yesterday, I don't have any funtabulous weight loss to report. I'm trying to avoid my scale until I hit 7 days, and yesterday I was 165.8 - eeps! Oh well, everyone needs to start somewhere!

                          It's almost ironic that the last time I was this heavy (166.0) I utilized Atkins and got back down to 115 lbs and stayed there for several years until I lost my way. I'm almost amused it took me until almost the exact same weight to start again! I think I've learned my lesson - this WOE is for life!

                            Sadie--don't even get me started on the cravings! They're AWFUL today! And of course someone made these GORGEOUS chocolate cookies. I could smell them the minute I walked in the breakroom (and the cookies were 30 feet away...)

                            GRRR. I'll eat my cukes and be a good girl.

                              Ugh I'm feeling just awful today. had a fever last night and was shaking. Today I'm dizzy and lightheaded. I just wanted to check in and now I'm going back to bed.
