    Morning, all!

    It's going to be another beautiful day. I had a great cardio workout yesterday and am full of energy this morning. Lunches are packed, coffee right here beside me, and I'm rarin' to go.

    Not much news to report, so I won't.

      morning yall!!
      it is my day off, so i have a bunch of errands to do but some fun stuff added in too (shopping, mani/pedi, etc). so excited for valentine's tomorrow!
      have been doing fine with 2 mile run/3 mile walk, and it has been almost a week since i cut back to rest my knee so i may try a 3 mile run/2 mile walk today and see how it goes. being cautious, because do NOT want that knee pain again, but at the same time i can't believe how much easier to run it is minus those last 20 pounds and i am rarn' to go!
      off to starbucks for my tall coffee w/splenda and heavy cream poured over ice. a daily morning treat i look forward to in a big way!!!

        Morning everyone! Day 4 for me and doing well. My hubby is trying the diet to be supportive with me (though at 6'3" and 199 lbs, he isn't really overweight at all - but he's curious if the diet can help him shed fat and be healthier, not really LOSE weight) so this morning we decided to test our Ketostix to see if we're in ketosis.

        I tested a decent purple (not too much, as I know that is often a sign of dehydration) and was content. He tested and tested at barely trace. He was so frustrated because he's altered so much to be supportive and the only real difference between what we're eating is he probably has a smidge more cheese than me each day (I'm not a big cheese fan).

        Could the cheese be the culprit? His carbs are relatively on track as mine are. I know its not a HUGE deal since he doesn't really have weight to lose but I know he was fairly excited to be burning fat.

          Well that is easy - I appreciate EVERYONE here on , but a special thank you to Evermind that it's nice to hear it every once and awhile.

          Yesterday was kinda in a funk -- not sure why, but today much better. Was able to get into a pair of 14 pants today so that might have put me into a better mood.

            I'm back to the board AGAIN.........I'm on day 2 of my re-re-re-re-re...induction Hubby is joining me on his day 1. The holidays got me sidetracked and away from the boards and last month I went back to school after MANY years away. I'm lucky I only gained a few pounds back, I think hubby gained all his weight back but he'll melt away fast I'm sure.

            Well, I've been sick for 4 days now. I think it's going back to school and being around new people in a new envrionment.

            I'm eating my eggs with veggies and sausage, looking forward to ketosis + energy + running and climbing the rungs. I haven't made it all the way through the rungs yet, but I will this time!!

                Mornin!

                Decided to take some time off from the gym until I feel better. Yesterday, although I felt like doo-doo, I went and ran for 2 miles, did elliptical for 2 mile and stairmaster for 10min. I thought getting in some good exercise would make me feel better... It didn't.

                Still up a few lbs from my low - guess it's the crud and TOM should be here soon...

                  Hey all.

                  Well I'm home sick today, got an appointment at 10am to figure out what is going on with my throat/ears. It hurts to swallow and my throat is swollen. Greaaaaaaaaaaat.

                  No gym today either, but I might do some yoga here at home this afternoon to see if I can clear any "junk" out of my system.

                    Gonna take a walk this morning and do laundry. Going over to see my dad later this morning. Took a diflucan yesterday, feeling a little cruddy... must be the yeastie beasties dying off... making brustle sprouts for breakfast with yogurt. I have weird cravings lately.

                      That's what I've got, Julie. I've been sick since Friday but have been steadly getting better with rest and fluids.

                        Morning STACers!

                        Sorry to hear the nastiness is making its way around again Hope ya'll feel better soon!

                        I am headed to the doc's today to get a pelvic ultrasound....my new doc thinks I might not have PCOS (which my old doc diagnosed me with last Jan). Part of me hopes she's right, part of me doesn't....it was nice to have an explanation of the things that were going wrong with my body, but I do want it to be the right one, lol.

                          I'm here. The black cloud that seemed to be hanging over me and making me moody and miserable seems to have lifted. Been busy with work and doing things around the house this morning. Good to feel energized again.

                              I'm laughing Liz as I feel the same way about my job...actually the new nurse manager! I think I'll look online & see what is out there.
                              I was sent home today @1030 as I don't feel well & I guess didn't look well.

                              It is snowing now after hours of sleet. I'm all warm & toasty & have 2 cats curled up on the computer desk. I'm going to make some breakfast quiche & do prep work for dinner. This is our new favorite dish:
