  • WFD- Vday

    I know Vday is not until tomorrow.. but I figured starting it early may give people ideas. For me, eating something good and legal is gonna help me not feel so deprived when the time comes. I know it should be about the HOLIDAY and not the candy,,,,, but sometimes it just IS about the food

    My youngest has riding lessons so that means quick supper. The kids picked tacos - great for me! I'll decorate the table and have all the fixings and we'll enjoy the meal together. It also happens to be my youngests' birthday.. so a double celebration is happening. I'll pick up the cake her great grandmother baked later this afternoon. I'll have their goodies on the table with supper. MY goodie will be sf chocolate something... russell stover or I just may make sf jello for me. Off to make my list of things needing to get done today.

    What's your plans for Vday??

    Sounds like you've got a fun day planned Rachel!

    Since my house has been taken over by the crud going around - it will be pretty low key for us. I was thinking London Broil and some sort of veggie - nothing too exciting! I think I might whip up a little heavy cream with cocoa and splenda and wolf that down as my V-day treat.

      I dunno whats going on for dinner. There is some salmon in the freezer that looks tasty and I might just need to suggest that. My bf is taking me to a strib club. Not overly excited about that but it might be fun, I dunno. lol I've been to a couple and it just has never really been my thing.

          Colleen... hmm.. may have to do that Love ideas tossed around. I made something.. heavy whipping cream.. cream cheese... splenda... kinda like that fruit dip that is full of sugar.. I use to put it on strawberries and blueberries... I'm thinking a cup of hot cocoa would be nice too!

            that's funny...
            Two years ago I threw my b/f his birthday party there....fun was had by all. I was so busy playing hostess I didn't even get to see when they got him on stage to dance.

              I'm sitting here thinking we might go out to a reggie club...of course, I haven't mentioned it to him yet.

              For dinner he wants shrimp and cheese stuffed chili wrapped in bacon and probably chicken

                I have band practice.. =( I'm so dissapointed, but we have a show the very next night so we HAVE to practice. So I have no idea what to do for dinner.
