    So.. how badly do you think I set myself back by eating a few pieces of chocolate yesterday?

    Had it been crappy chocolate, I would have been fine. But not my mother. No, she has to give me handmade artisan chocolate. I felt guilty for NOT eating a few.

    Current Weight: 128 lbs (BMI 24.2)
    Goal Weight: 110 lbs (BMI 22.7)

    Hey,

    I had this with my Mum last Easter - she got me some lovely Lindt mini eggs. Anyway I said thanks I'll eat them once my 169 cheat free days are over (my target), which can be a good excuse.

    It will probably stop you losing for 2-3 days but the real issue is not letting this trigger cravings and eating other illegal foods. That is the real danger of a cheat. So be extra vigilant to eat right and get in your water and don't cheat for the next week.

    If you do that, you'll be fine and losing in no time again.

      Wew.. for a minute there I thought I might have telepathically sent your those darn Godiva Chocolate Covered Strawberries -- my guilt has now been assuaged.

      Sorry about the trip-up yesterday. Since you don't seem too far away from your goal weight as long as you stay way from the evil Chocolate you should be okay

        The worst part is that I hit a plateu and I haven't lost anything for the past few weeks. So now I feel terrible because it looks like I went up 2lbs and am back at 129. ARG. I hate my mom.

              Well, I had some chocolate yesterday and it triggered another migraine... arg! At least I now KNOW that chocolate is a trigger for me and one more reason to stay away from it... Funny how moms think they're saying 'I love you'... but we're not hearing it... a nice new shirt would say 'I love you' much better.

                You should be kinda proud of yourself in a way. You only ate a few pieces! Sometimes,, the craving can be so strong people say "what the heck" and take it as a license to eat whatever they want for the rest of the day. Yes, just be extra vigilant and cheat free this next week and you should get rid of any cravings that try to tempt you.
