  • 3rd time induction not as sucessful:(

Kinda bummed about this time around. This is my 3rd time around on atkins. Only made it 4 months in last time before getting pregnant again. This is why I quit both times before.

I lost 20 lbs each time give or take a few in induction both 1st and 2nd time around. This time only 10. I know that 10 is awesome and I should complain but when you have lost double both times before its a bummer. I know that with each time you do atkins it gets harder to lose. Thats why this is my last time!!! No more babis...YOU HEAR THAT WEIGHTLOSS GODS...NO MORE BABIES!!!

LOL our last was a surprise. But there is no fertility enhancer like losing a few lbs or 50.

Oh well, Ill take any sucess I can get and keep reminding myself that its not only about those numbers, you have also accomplished a huge feat...Getting a food addiction undercontrol thanks to atkins.

I've been on and off Atkins for 6+ years - Off while preggo. Everytime I start back up it's harder. I have to trick my body more - tweak certain things that didn't hinder weight loss before and exercise my ever lovin bootie off
You know this works for you - you can totally do this. Listen to your body, make the adjustments. It's frustrating, I know. This time around I feel like I am at a slow crawl to get this flipping baby weight off of me and HE'S 2! Maybe by the time he graduates

Love the pic - it's seriously fab

    Best of luck to you!

You know what? I think that in view of your history, success should be measured differently.

I think that for you, success should be: 1) doing 2 weeks of induction cleanly. 2) moving immediately to OWL. 3) Staying on plan for 8 months.

Forget the weight loss part. You've only made it 4 months before. That means you have been treating this like a quickie diet. Set a long-term success goal!

      I survived a two-month stall!
