  • Anyone have any ideas?

    Well last night I made up my mind to come back to the best WOE, Atkins and the best support board ADBB. I WAS going to wait until Monday to start since I can't go grocery shopping until tomorrow and my two friends are coming over to watch the Oscars on Sunday, one a vegetarian, one a gourmet cook. More on that later...so I thought I'll start Monday but when ever I say that then that's my cue to eat whatever, whenever and how much ever! And instead of coming back at 275, I could've come back Monday at 280! So I decided I'm starting today. I figured I had enough "legal" food in the fridge to get me through one day until I go grocery shopping tomorrow. Had all the ingredients to make tuna patties which I had for brunch. And I need ideas for dinner. I COULD do a broccoli chicken stir fry but I thought I'd come on here and see if any of you great cooks had some sort of "recipe" for what I have...

    Chicken breasts (boneless)
    Broccolli (frozen)
    Lots of cheese
    sour cream
    chicken broth
    olive oil
    butter
    garlic

    I looked around my cupboards and found curry powder, garlic powder and dried red chili peppers and I remembered I had a bag of stir fry veggies too. Sooo I decided to make a chicken curry veggie stir fry and it was FABULOUS! I kinda "breaded" the cut up chicken pieces in curry power, garlic powder and in a hot wok put some olive oil and fried up the chicken along with the dried red peppers then added the stir fry veggies and some extra curry with along with the oil made a curry gravy! IT WAS AWESOME! And the best part of all, I didn't care that I didn't have rice to go along with it! I didn't want to post this in recipe section since it's not really a recipe but more of a post of how CREATIVE you can be with this WOE!

      I love how creative on this WOE you get to be! Your curry chicken looks SOO good! I might just try it out tonight. I'm happy to hear you decided to get on Atkins right away instead of waiting til monday. never too early to start feeling better
