    TGIF!!! One more day of working out and then my first week of P90X will be done! I'm up a pound, but I think that may be because I nibbled too much on legal foods yesterday and I'm sure the carbs added up. I've got a busy day ahead of me. I have to get things tidied up before the weekend. DBF is picking up one of his daughters to stay with us for a night and then we're gonna go visit with both of his daughters at his grandmother's house tomorrow. Off to take a shower and get laundry done up!

    Edited because I forgot to tell everyone to have a wonderful and legal day!! Stay within those carb limits!!!

      Morning! TGIF for suuuure!

      I had a lazy night last night. Just put on my jammies and lay on the bed reading. I'm tired. Fell asleep around 7:45, I think!

      Beanpole - you did not gain a pound of fat in one day. No amount of carbs will do that to you. That would take 3500 calories. You didn't consume your bmi plus 3500 calories. It's just water. Don't even THINK about it - it doesn't count.

      I have a lot of schoolwork to do this weekend and I'm trying to rev up my energy and commitment to do so. Frankly, I'm feeling tired and lazy. I hope that ends by tomorrow morning! Yikes!

      But first, I need to get through today...........

        yes!! TGIF! i LOVE atkins! i am on day 2 of this DO-OVER!! in the last week i have had 2, count'em 2 ex BF's tell me "D*MN girl you look good!" one told me he blew it and another asked me where he could find one just like me. my poor ol' girl vain brain just couldn't digest all that.

        AND..hit the 80% off rack at a local dept. store and bought a beautiful pair of dress slacks, size 6...for $7!!! and a GORGEOUS black wrap around blouse for $8.....too big in the bust but, that's the norm! i love'em.

        just reasons 1 and 2 why i love atkins today. enjoy your good health friends!

          Recovering from my cold, need to get better for my show tomorrow!! Gonna go out and have lunch with my sweety today, no worries, it'll be Atkins legal. ^_^ I'm praying that I'll look super thin when I go on stage, tomorrow. No more fat pictures!!

            Mornin Everyone!

            Hot yoga last night was awesome! I was able to do a pose called "Toe Stand" - here's a pic



            I was so STOKED!!!!! Anywhoooooooooooo... This morning I'm up 5lbs from my low - yep - 117. I am pissed, sad, discouraged, etc... I started taking a water pill to help get rid of some of this jive. I know I'm in ketosis. I went back to induction on Monday and the scale is still going the wrong flipping way. I'll keep on keeping on, but I'm so angry. This has been going on for two weeks! I was going to wait to start some probiotics until after TOM showed up. Should I start them now? I've been reading up on the Candida issue and haven't read that it causes you to GAIN weight.
            I'm not a crier - ever.... But today, I just want to scream and bawl...
            Just having a moment, I'll get over it.

              Hey all...

              TGIF, for sure!

              Feeling good this morning, feeling nice and toned and lean from yoga last night. Today I have a 5 mile run after work, and then grocery shopping. I'm hoping to be home by 4:30, at which point I'll dry brush, take a shower, and go directly into my PJs!!!

              Geoff is sick, probably coming down with bronchitis so it will be a lazy weekend around my place. Sort of. Tomorrow I'm teaching my strength training class, and in the evening, I'm going to a Hip-Hop dance clinic. Geeeeez, I haven't danced in years (I took classes growing up) so this should be interesting. Sunday I have my "long" run, I think I'm up for 7 miles.

                  Julie--Your dance class sounds like fun. Hope Geoff feels better too!

                  I have a pretty open day today at work--good time for me to get organized and follow up with some stuff! Tonight I have my delayed training session, then tomorrow it's more martial arts and massive cleaning.

                    Hi everyone! Well worked out this morning with some of the basics - crunches etc. Then I made my husband take pictures of me in the jeans for the lose the love handles challenge. I love the man for putting up with me - LOL. He says there are 3 things he just shouldn't have to do.... 1) buy tampons 2) buy underwear/bras and 3) take pictures of fat rolls...... I did tell him that I have never asked for 2 out of 3 - so the odds aren't too bad - LOL

                    I am hanging around 144 right now... and probably because I had a chicken cordon bleu last night which itself was 13 carbs which is still fine - the breading was very limited but I just don't know if my body recognized it as something bad - at least it didn't start a binge. 95% of my plate was a salad and then the little chicken thing.

                    Oh well - it's yucky here right now...they are expecting more ice - but the "snow" that was supposed to happen never did oh well - I at least wanted an inch or something.

                      TGIF! Cold and wet day here in So Cal. Rained all night which I loved listening to. I have studying to do, lots because I have to make up for last weeks illness which left me sleeping most days. House cleaning, also, and a pile of paperwork on my desk. So a day at home for me.

                      Exercise is overdue so I'll get some in today.

                        Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy day for me today.
                        Have spent most of it ordering my kids to clean and tidy up

                        My daughter is having a sleepover in our basement tonight, so no doubt I will have to go and shush them at about 4.00am !!!

                        Busted myself back to rung 1 this week, as im getting nowhere with the 'Neew Year, New You' challenge. The scale isnt moving, but my body shape is certainly changing.

                          Hi Everyone.. Just checking in.. Still not on track and don't know when I will be.. I did go by the Y yesterday that was kind of nice.. Caught the last 15 minutes of my class...and got to socialize.. Felt good doing something for myself...

                          Things are really bad around here right now and I just don't have a lot of time to focus on anything... Hopefully things will get better soon...

                            Good afternoon. Almost halfway through the day. I have started exercising again, and I feel great. My puppy 3 month old puppy is giving me the most exercise though!

                            Lazy night for me.... going to watch all the shows I dvr'd from the week!
                            Re re starting this time for good with the support of my husband. He is doing this with me.

                              Yeah, Friday! Busy weekend, but I'm so glad to see it roll around! Last night I was craving something sweet. I stood in every open cabinet and fridge like 5 time...nothing looked appealing and I didn't feel like making anything. I wanted it INSTANTLY. Blah! So I went to bed. The scale seems to be stuck..but I'm not giving up. Ketosis is here and I can really feel/see my body changing shape. REally weird.. but good weird!
