  • Night Owl/Early Bird 2/23 Roll Call? LOL!

    Hello Stacers!

    I didn't make the TGIF roll call because I was up and out of the house and gone all day and night. Came home, made a cheese omelette, caught up on phone calls and emails and now it's 1am! And since tomorrow will be much of the same I wanted to get both my shout outs in the roll calls done in one post! LOL!

    Friday:
    Woke up late had to run out the door to a hair appt. no time for breakfast or to pack something legal for lunch and dinner. I was scared. Ended up going to a bbq joint for lunch where I ordered a bbq chicken with a dry rub (no sauce) ala cart! Yummy. Met my husband where we went to see the Oscar statuettes. Here's a pic, I'll put up more on a thread that's not WOE related if anyone is interested...

    Then at night we went to dinner where I had a blue cheese and gorgonzola stuffed kobe burger sans bun and a side salad with avocado ranch! YUMMO!
    After intering at Second City and rehearsal came home and was hungry so I made a cheese omelette. Tomorrow will be day 3 and already I've lost 3 pounds! WOO-HOO!

    HAPPY SATURDAY! Busy day today on tap for me again today, writing class, rehearsal, then my show. I have faith I will still be okay. One thing I realized is you CAN find legal things to eat if you really want to. Sometimes it may be more difficult to find, or costly depending on where you are but if you really want to you can and WILL! However it's a lot easier to stay on plan IF you PLAN! lol!

    Morning! I'm here after getting up at 4am to do KenpoX! That is not the way I like to spend my saturday mornings, but I need to get those workouts in. Tomorrow is rest day!! We've got one of DBF's daughters with us and we'll probably switch for the other one tonight while we're at his grandparent's house today. Seems like the weekends always revolve around the four kids and I'm already tired from my workout. If I don't make it in tomorrow, have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

      Good morning here too.. I woke up at 3:30...went potty and said.. I am not going to get up this darn early.. tossed and turned until my daughters alarm went off at 5:25...which is the time she gets up for school but she forgot to cut it off yesterday...

      Another rainy day today and old Arthur is acting up in my knees Working at the camp today...with all the bad food like pies and stuff are.. But I am not back on track anyway....

        Hope you all have a wonderful day. I woke up with a sore throat & ache all over. Pushing the fluids & resting today. I'm thinking about climbing back in bed with a book.

          Hello All!

          It's 7:52 here!!! I got up so early becuase I couldn't wait to weight myself and I just had to share that I stepped on the scale today and last Wednesday I was 247 and today I'm 243.5!! YAY! I mean in four days...that's just incredible!! Needless to say I'm very excited!! So in my first 4 days of induction I've lost that much!

          I am so motivated to keep going that I am going to a spinning class at 10!

            Good morning, all!

            I'm up earlier than normal for a Saturday morning. I was up at 6am, usually I let myself sleep until 8am. I guess I went to bed too early last night.

            Just checking in quickly before I'm off to the gym. I'm teaching my strength training class this morning, and I'm ready for a good workout!

              Well I didn't even open my eyes until 12.15pm, yes thats AFTER lunch.
              And this was because my daughter and friends kept me awake till well past 4.am.
              One day she will no longer want sleepovers,,,,,,,,,,, I hope!!

              Going to have a meaty day today, just had lamb for lunch and am planning on steak for dinner.

                Morning!

                Not too much to report on today - Still 5 lbs up. Bummer.

                Going to the gym today, after hubby comes home from work - 2 year old is sick, so I can't drop the chitlins off at the gym's daycare - double bummer...

                It's cold, dreary and ugly here today. Yuck!

                  Morning! I woke up at 6 because dh works from 7 - 3:30 today and I had to drive him. I'm up with coffee now after dropping him off, still debating whether to go back to bed or stay up.

                  I've got this weird little cold that is annoying. Every time I think "oh, it's gone!" my throat gets sore again, or I get a dry cough. Or my ears clog up. It's been this way for a week or so. Less energy right now. Everyone at work has it, and we're all complaining about the draggy feeling. I will push fluids and just keep on keepin' on.

                  I finished the last 6 week exercise challenge and signed up for another. I have the most success when I participate - there's something about being accountable online for the 5 days of workouts that keeps me going, even when I don't feel like it. <grin> I lost 9 lbs this last time, and 16 inches, so I am feeling good.

                  As I reflect on this month, I am proud that:
                  1. I finally broke my stall and have lost those 9 lbs.
                  2. I have been doing an excellent job of balancing work and school and personal life.
                  3. I have been completely on track with food and fluid, which is very calming and routinized.
                  4. I've lost a lot of inches.
                  5. I feel good about my body and my self.
                  6. I'm down one clothing size. So many things fit now!
                  7. I've got almost 7 months down on this woe, and it's part of my life now.
                  Yay me!

                    Wow Evermind, you are doing Great!!!! That's awesome!

                    I woke up early too but am just now checking in. Got the results of neck MRI... little bit of herniation at C6 &C7... dang it... with the degeneration and the foramen narrowing... I have a feeling when I see Neurosurgery on Wed they'll be talking surgery on my neck now. :-( kinda scary... just the thought of it makes my neck hurt worse. The worse part is that the doctor never called me, I finally got impatient and went to medical records and got the results myself. (the jerk!)

                    Other than that things are great, I'm reading a book by Lance Armstrong my son gave me...'It's not about the bike' which my son gave me and he underlined all this stuff in it for me... pretty sweet.

                    Well, nice to see the sun again. Working lateer today then getting off early to go see my dd perform. (dance) It's a fundraiser for one of company's she's in. Last year it was phenomenal... I'm sure it will be again. Very lighthearted. I love that instructor/director... she's amazing. (teaches at UCSD and SDSU) anyways... I'm glad I get to go to that.

                      sorry some are sick! hang in there.
                      off for a nice long run, and a starbucks as well!!! exchanging some of the size 8's i bought at jcrew for size 6's today, and next week have some vacation time during which i am going to weed through and get rid of all my size 10/12/14's. will be cathartic for me, i am sure.

                        I"m here. Taking a break from picking up around the house. Daughter's party is tonight and, of course, everyone has stray stuff all over the house. Or so it seems that way! Vacuum and dust and .. dishes.. and I"m set Hopefully they won't keep me up all night. I'm off to find something for brunch! I'm thinking that soup sounds realy good right about now on this crisp day!

                          good morning STACers! well, mini me was at a sleep over last night. no hot date for me. i fell asleep watching a movie with ernie....i am not much fun on a friday night. today it is housework and then off to my best friend's mom's house (got that?). she is in the hospital (the mom) and my friend, who lives with chronic shoulder pain, is trying frantically to get the house cleaned up before her mom comes home monday. i guess when she came up to see her mom last week, she discovered the house was a terrible mess....so, today is my "do a friend a good deed" day.

                          oh, went to get a haircut and color yesterday. a friend has done my hair since last summer...she BUTCHERED my hair! i am ticked about that. i guess i have hair issues since so much fell out last summer and finally decided to start growing again. she chopped it full of layers and i hate it....well, hair grows.

                          have a great day folks...today is day #3. off to work i go....(i get to clean mouse poop out of a garage...THAT is TRUE FRIENDSHIP!)

                              Hi everyone

                              A little hectic today. Our house is on the market so I had to spring clean it this morning and then we all moved out for a few hours.

                              I am feeling good today. Still have a cough but am hanging in there.

                              Day 4 and going strong!

                              Am off to cook burgers, runner beans and cauliflower cheese for dinner - how good is this WOE?!!!!
