First week of induction results YAY!!!

    Good morning everyone!

And we're off! 9 pounds down after 7 days! I am so happy with that. I only have to lose another 5 pounds in 3 weeks and I will have lost a whole stone (the real big deal measurement here in the UK) by my holiday - yippee!

I know from experience that it will slow down now but I am prepared for it and so happy with my first week results.

Great job! A stone is how many pounds? I think that is a cool sounding kind of measurement. It paints like a visual image. Wish we had stones here. Heck... I am English on my ma's side. Perhaps I will measure myself in stones.

          Hi Snap

A stone is 14 pounds. We all think in stones and pounds here rather than just pounds. It is a huge thing when you drop a stone - I guess the same as dropping 10 pounds etc. for you guys. As I only discuss my weight with ADBBers, I have started measuring in pounds!

                Cool!
Where are you in England? I have been dying to go there. When I reach my goal weight that just might be the cool reward that I give to myself.

Rachel, you crack me up! I thought I dropped a pebble but it ended up being sand. And the remaining sand soaks up water and weighs more. (sigh)

                    Congratulations Zarabelle!
