    Morning guys.

    I went to a 40th birthday party last night. There was a full spread of food including curries, garlic bread, gorgeous deserts and I ate.......

    NOTHING I ate a really high fat small meal before I went out and didn't crave or feel the slightest bit hungry and I drank water - plain old filterered water. I bet some of my friends think I am pregnant again as it's been a long time since I drank water at a party

    It's my birthday tomorrow (36 ) and I have decided we will have a (induction legal) takeaway and for the first time in years, I am not going to have any champagne/wine. I didn't even miss it yesterday. I said to a friend that I wanted to lose weight more than I wanted bread, potatoes,aclcohol etc. and it's true.

    So I am feeling very strong this morning.

    It's mothers' day here in the UK so I got to sleep in until 10am (bliss) and I am off to get my hair coloured.

            happy mothers day!!! i am calling in......for march 2nd. havent exercised just yet but i am planning on a long walk this morning and some kind of abdominal routine. today is a most glorious day!!

              Hey cool - Happy Mother's Day everyone over there

              Well ordered pizza for kids last night as my friend came over and we finished putting together the milking machine for the goats. I personally had a protein shake for dinner as I ate lunch very late.

              So far this morning I exercised, tried to milk goats (I really need to seperate the momma's and the babies so I can get some milk tomorrow), fed chickens, and now I am sitting down. I know I have lost more inches which is just peachy to me Even when the scale doesn't move at least I "see" some results.

              My bikini top came in and the bottoms come in this week. Will I look hot? Well dang it I think so Even with a couple of rolls I can deal with it! Better than a stuffed sausage which is what I felt like last year. My husband laughed at me because I bought a bathing suit with a skirt - and I am NOT someone who does that no matter what - but he knew I must feel really bad about how I look to go and do something like that.

              We are going over to my mother's house today - I am dreading it but will live through it. It's for my son's b-day and at least I get to leave him there for the night - LOL. Other than that - my mother annoys me and stresses me out 98% of the time because...well that's too long a story to type....

              Anyway - have a great legal day It's supposed to be nice here today and tomorrow and I am taking it!!

                ZARABELLE! CONGRATS!!! THAT'S JUST GREAT!!!

                All is well here with me this morning!!! I have bene so stingy lately with my money that I think today I am going go and buy myself a little gift for losing my first ten pounds.

                I had that pumpkin pudding for breakfast as I wasn't that hungry! I am not sure what lunch is going to be but my bf and I are having chicken wings tonight for dinner! It's bound to be yummy!!!

                I am going to go for a little walk today!!!!

                  I finished day one without a hitch. Healthy on plan breakfast this morning and exercise DONE!

                  Happy Mother's Day to all the UK mum's! I just got back from your side of the pond last week. What a wonderful trip!

                    Zarabelle - Happy Mother's Day! You get a 'My Hero!' for staying legal at that party. I would've broke for sure! Good job!!

                    No workout this morning for me - rest day! I got all my chores done already so the rest of the day is all mine to do as I please. Wish it was a better day - DBF and I are fussing. I think I'm going to focus on the kids today, get a few of tomorrow's chores done, and stay away from emotional eating.

                      Dana, I LOVE to hear your daily farm reports. I've been reading them to DH, lately. He gets a kick out of it, too.

                      Katie, by all means, go out and get yourself a little something for losing that first 10 pounds! Those are some of the harderst to lose, because a lot of people never even get off the ground when starting this WOE. Induction is hard, and some don't make it. Kudos to you for sticking it out!

                      Hi, BeanPole - enjoy your rest day! I hope the DBF thing works out soon... I like your plan for avoiding emotional eating. That is exactly the kind of dedication it takes to be successful in the long run. That a girl!

                      I'm about to head out the door and get some bike riding in. I'm proud of myself for doing it yesterday. It was the first time I have done it in a long time, and when I got on the road, I discovered that my mp3 player had no charge. I love listening to music when I ride... part of me wanted to turn around and go home. I live in a HUGE residential neighborhood, and can ride for 10 miles without seeing cars on the road, so I enjoy the music. But, I went ahead and did a 45 minute ride in silence. You can bet that I've got a full charge for today.

                      Just finished cooking bacon for the family... some of you know that I can never pass up bacon drippings in a pan on the stove. So, I tossed in 17 large stalks of fresh asparagus, and cooked them in the drippings. It was a yummy breakfast.

                      OK, everyone - go out there and have a lovely, legal Atkins Day!

                          Morning, all!

                          I woke up feeling gorgeous, because I did hair and nails yesterday. No more roots and raggedy ended nails........ Also am now, after being up for 2 hours, feeling thinner.......because (does this happen to anyone else? and forgive the TMI!!!!) I think I've been pooping all morning! Same thing happened yesterday. Does anyone else go thru a few days periodically where it seems that all you do is allow your intestines to work? Sheesh! It's not uncomfortable or anything, just........well, frequent trips. (not the runs)

                          Well, hmmmm. So I spent yesterday with dd looking at cars and we found one we think we will get her this week. So I didn't accomplish any housework or any work on my university schoolwork. The latter is the most important, and wouldn't you know it, I don't want to do it today. just don't. Feeling lazy about it and also defiant. Bad girl. I think I will force myself to do one or two things, then let it go. I have a long vacation coming up and I will just have to double up the time I spend then, I guess.

                          What I really feel like doing is housework and organizing. So I will probably do some of that, too.

                          Everyone sounds like they're doing really well - nice to hear! We're all working really, really hard on being healthy people, and the rewards are just accumulating.........

                            Morning all!

                            Happy Mothers Day to those across the pond

                            It's snowing today... Although I live in Colorado, I still dislike snow with a passion. Yesterday it was almost 70, today, snow...

                            Today is rest day. My body really needs it. I could tell on Friday at my BOSU class that I was not on my game. I'm just really, really freaking tired. Looking forward to taking it easy today - maybe taking a nice long nap.

                            My MIL comes into town on Wednesday - She's awesome - love her. She's watching the kidlets, while hubby and I take our little jaunt to Vegas on Friday the 7th - I can't wait!!!
