    Good morning STACers!!!

    Day FOUR on plan and still going strong Even with some stress and issues with my devil teen this morning. It WILL be a day for me and not stress

    Zara, you have lost 11.5 pounds. That is 11 and 1/2 cartons of butter. Next time you are in the store look at the shelf and count them. THAT visual shows what an amazing job you are doing!!!

    PT, keeping my fingers crossed for you and the Biggest Loser competition. Sorry about the insomnia. I fight it too. My son gave me some BB&BW "Sleep" bubble bath for Christmas. It's a lavender and vanilla milk bath. Totally awesome for destressing and calming myself before I crawl into bed. Or maybe it's just the half hour in the tub with no kids around?

    Another full crazy day for me here so I am off to the races! Everyone make it special!

      Hi all -- been a bit hectic around here lately & will be out of the office for next two days. Sorry about the insomnia (I really, really, really enjoy my sleep) so when it gets out of whack I am miserable to I truly sympathize...

      Zarabelle ~ we all hate looking at pictures of ourselves in our current state ((Unless we are a success story)) We are generally our own worst critict's and can pick out just about any flaw (imagineray or not) Just remember you are A SUCCESS story in the making and you have lost 11.5 awful heavy pounds... That's amazing!! If you aren't sure what a great accomplishment that is next time you go to the store pick up 11 pounds of potatoes and carry them around for a while... Don't be so hard on yourself - you are doing great.

        Aha! Found the roll Call. LOL

        I have to say this morning I wanted to cheat so bad (if only out of convienience-not even a craving) but I thought of the roll call and it REALLY helped Thank you. I was thinking of joining a push up challenge for march but I haven't found it yet. I have a real motivation problem with exercising when it's winter time. Can't afford to join a club and walking outside right now is downright dangerous lately..not kidding..ice and such.

        Weather here today is COLD. That's a Canadian winter for ya though. LOL so I am thinking of running up and down my steps. I have a basement and an upstairs so that would be two sets of steps. Heaven knows I am out of breath doing laundry. hahah

        So there you have it. I am publicly announcing my intention to run my steps everyday! I will start with 3 times (that's both ways) in the AM and 3 times in the PM. It's a start at least right?

          Party Trouble! I am sorry about the insomnia!!! It can be frustrating! But at least you're being productive...planning your day! Lol!!! You have about five hours on all of us!

          All is well today. I am contemplating what to do about this constant choking thing. I can now only eat about 3 bites of my meals before I panic and stop! And right now I am stalling so I need to get all those veggies in but this fear is just crippling me! I was wondering if I have anxiety problems or something!! It's just insane!!

          Other than that...all is well here...I really need to drop some more. I am on extended induction as of now. I lost 10 lbs but I know I can do a bit more before I move onto OWL!

          I am just getting really frustrated with this choking thing!!!! I am panicked about it!!!

            Good morning! This has been quite insightful reading today. I woke up the other night at 3:00 a.m. Must be in the air.

            Today marks 21 pounds GONE FOREVER! I'm a little bit stressed because I have 19 days to lose 9 pounds. I know it's doable AND I know it's not the end of the world if I don't reach 30 gone by Easter. I agree with setting small goals and not focusing on the big picture. I personally get overwhelmed when I think of the big picture. The doubts pop up in my head - "Can I really do this? What am I going to look like? Will I gain it all back?" Sometimes I go down that big picture road and I have to remind myself to focus on the here and now. I can only change what I am doing today so this is what I focus on - today.

            I hope everyone has a super day! It's raining in Atlanta. No complaints because we really really need the rain.

              thankfully i have never suffered from insomnia. the only sleep problem i have is that if i get in 3-4 hard hours of sleep and something wakes me up, i struggle to go back to sleep.

              ugh, i am suffering major burnout....burned out at work and burned out at home. yesterday at work was one of those days when sitting in a cubicle with no one to talk to sounded REALLY good. went home and felt like the guy in "goundhog day"...didn't i just do all this???????

              but i was legal and on track, had an hour workout...working my arms and shoulder with weights...did a good cardio workout too. struggling to get dinner ready earlier in the evening. i hate to eat after 6 but my team is not cooperating.

              today is a new day

                  Hi Everyone..its been a busy morning.. Did the bus run, ran and paid a bill, ran by the grocery store to get a few things.. Home to eat a Salad... Gotta leave again in 1/2 hour for a afternoon run.. I am really tired myself.. I woke up at 4 to go potty and wanted to crawl back in the bed.. But just stayed up since the alarm is set for 4:45..

                    okies, good morning all. Weighed in at 163.6 today. I almost got mad until i realized the scale had gone down not up. I was really tired and groggy and never expected the 163 so i immediately assumed i had gone up 8 pounds. Weird huh? TOM is here so i was not expecting a loss at all.

                      That is FUNNY Susan! Hooray for your loss!

                      I have now been on Induction for 5 days and all I got was a re-loss of a few pounds I "found" after the Dreamfields last Monday. Then today I'm up two pounds for no good reason! Then after a long meeting at work, I check voice mail and it was my doc saying my cholesterol is too high and I need to take something for it!! I'm just so down....... Food could comfort me but I know it will make me feel worse in the long run. I'm just gonna try for a couple more days and then I dunno...Maybe Stillman's. Or I could try some L-Carnitine for slow metabolism -- anyone ever try this?

                        I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your advice/encouragement. I have decided I will get my hubby to take the photo every 10 pounds(I have never done this before and think it will be a good thing closer to target) but I will not really look at them that carefully until I am 10 pounds from goal.

                          Mid-Morning all! LOL!

                          Feeling good today, just gotta get motivated to do some house cleaning, more interested in doing some creative things so we'll see what wins out...creative I'm sure! LOL! Cheese omlette and bacon for breakfast yummy! Later on I'm gonna do 4-5 miles on the treadmill. Gotta wait until ds comes home from school to watch the furbabies, they are too inquisitive about the treadmill and two of them are still kittens and I don't want them getting TOO close. If I put them anywhere in the house unsupervised they get into trouble! LOL!

                          PT: Ugh insomnia sucks! My friend swears by Benidryl to help him fall asleep. Or sign up for POGO.COM and play games that's what we do when we can't fall asleep, we chat and play online games!

                          ZARABELLE: Oh hon please don't feel down! You lost almost 12lbs and went down almost TWO dress sizes! DON'T FEEL DOWN, FEEL PROUD! You've been so inspiring to me!

                          OZ: Thanks for the msg to remind me to measure! I did totally forget. I looked for the tape measure last week and couldn't find it and then just totally forgot. Will measure today. Keep dry hon!

                            Afternoon!

                            Running around like a crazy lady this morn. Took the chitlins bowling for playgroup today, was looooooooooooooong and kinda fun My 4 year old actually had a score of 126 - albeit with bumpers, but whoa - pro bowler!

                            Weight loss is seriously stalled. I just ended my 2 weeks of re-induction to try and jumpstart something and not one lb lost. NOTHING! I'm super frustrated and mad, but what can I do? I'm still working out, still eating the same. Maybe I am destined to be stuck at 115? Eh... whatever...

                            Going to run and get in some good cardio before Yoga tonight.

                            Zara-I took some pics of myself a couple of weeks ago and thought I was going take a chainsaw to my thighs - totally mortifying. You just keep on doing what you're doing and you'll get there -I bet you look awesome right now - you've done so great!

                            Sandy - Congrats for jumping back on the Atkins train - good for you!

                                colleen, you workout ALOT. Did you ever stop to think about the fact that you are packing on the muscle? Also you really have next to nothing to lose, it is gonna be extremely slow going from here. How much water are you drinking? With as much as you workout you need to account from it in your hydration as well.
