  • It's going to be a long day

    I am at a conference which I am not that interested in - there will be lots of coffee and cookies / muffins / donuts / - stuff that I don't want - but will have to look at when I get there -I know I will drink too much coffee and not enough water - oh well - I can do this.

    And at least I will get sashimi for lunch!

        Secret stash in my purse during days like that:

        1. Baggie with black olives
        2. String cheese
        3. "to go" container of cream cheese (1 tablespoon, I think)

          So how DID you do? Hopefully there were some good choices or you were able to bring some cheese sticks or something. Remember that if you have gone more than 6 hours without any kind of food, and even stayed on plan, your sugar/insulin levels may be a little whacked for a while. Don't give in the next day just cuz you feel crummy and cravey!

            i am with evermind...things that can go in your purse with no refrigeration for a while....jerky, string cheese, pepperoni, celery.
