    Well I haven't started a roll call in a long while.. But man I am feeling good today... I have soooooooooo much energy! Why oh why do I get off plan?

    Working today at the camp....Let me tell you I had to resist a bunch of desserts and my boss made a NEW one.. Brownies with Cream cheese.. Oh man I wanted to sample it..

    But I stuck with Chicken, Salad and Broccoli I did eat a Sugar Free Jello...but they are tiny little cups...

    Of course the stupid scale is up at 1lb..but that isn't going to bother me.. Probably too much salt in something..

    Morning! Way to go Sandy on skipping the brownies!!

    I'm bloated... plain and simple. Doesn't FEEL like my usual PMS - but it is. I'm up 3 lbs because of it (which is actually what told me I was bloated in the 1st place). My husband noticed last night too when he said I wouldn't want him taking a picture of me for any challenge right now. Alrighty then!! Big deal I know it will go away. But I am heading to the farmer's market in sweat pants - LOL. If I'm bloated, I'm going to be comfy and cold out there!!

    Oh well I'm off!! I need to load up the freezer and coolers. Today I sell Goats Milk for the 1st time so we'll see how it goes

      Hi all!!!

      Well the snow is begginning to come downlike mad here but I still want to get out of the apt and do a little shopping!!! Ha ha ha! I am still in a treating myself mood! One of the things I am buying is a "hot yoga" membership! I am really stoked about it!!! I think it'll help me with my anxiety in general!

      Other than that...I have to get on that treadmill today! I haven't worked out in a while and am behind in the March Squat Challenge and I know that if I work out the pounds will just melt away...so i am really excited to get started!

      Now I am off to get a Starbucks and enjoy!

      Also, I want to thank you all for your unconditional support here! I was never into forums before but you guys have made me accountable and feel so much support that cheating is just not an option! Thank you ALL! Good luck on your journeys too!

        Quiet day at home for me...I'm in heaven!! Need to do some house chores but also going to do some reading, sewing & relaxing! It is a day just for me!

          Good morning all - hubby cooking breakfast and then I need to get on the stability ball. Girlfriend and I are having a girls day out while hubby watches kid (YAY!). Hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday!

              Good morning all! It's snowing again in Chicago and I am *NOT* happy.

              But I was able to up my workouts from walking to a one mile jog this morning

              I finally feel like i'm solidly back on plan again and it feels darn good

              Sandy, awesome job on skipping the brownies! So happy to hear you are feeling better!

              OOOO Katie I am so jealous on the hot yoga. My schedule just won't allow me to do something like that. I have ordered a yoga DVD for starters tho.

              Today is laundry day. I have a small bit of picking up around the house. But the afternoon will be ALL mine and I intend to enjoy every minute of it!

                GOOD MORNING! why do i feel guilty to share that it is partly cloudy and about 65 here today? saw the new about the weather in the middle of the states and FROZE just watching it. sorry friends...stay safe and warm. off to the grand opening of our new pets mart (whoo hoo big time excitement). i have a coupon and need dog food so....

                then taking mini me to find something "not too dressy" for easter. oh joy! finding shoes is even more fun as she still has to wear kids shoes and it makes her mad.

                then i might need a martini (JUST KIDDING!)....watching my TARHEELS whoop up on duke tonight (i hope!) and that is that

                on an end note,,,,,,please keep in prayer the young lady from UNC-CH who was murdered just outside of campus this past week. that is my alma mater and i love my school. she must have been a special young lady and she was someone's lovely daughter.....praying for peace for her family, healing for the college community and justice for the monster that did that to her.

                  Checking in, looking forward to a GREAT day !!!! I am cleaning and doing some laundry today (wooooo hoooooo). Supposed to be nice here but cold - we keep going from hot to cold - I am ready for it to level off to a somewhat constant

                  Still on program and having more energy - NEVER giving up !!

                    Morning folks!! Congrats to those of you still exercising even if its freezing out! We skipped our last two days worth of walks due to iced sidewalks and.. I really should have exercised indoors and instead did nothing. I need your motivation! ;-)

                    Not hungry yet but I think the hubby is making poached eggs and bacon when we do get there. Just came back from a trip to the vet and our beloved pudgy cavalier, Bailey, needs to drop about 10-13 lbs.. so we got his list 'o foods (a lot like the maintenance level for Atkins, so I had to chuckle) and caloric needs and it looks like now EVERYONE in the house will be watching that scale go down! =)

                      Morning, all.

                      Ah.............Saturday mornings. Lying in bed snuggling with dh for an hour,drinking a homemade mocha (coffee, cream, cocoa powder, dash of vanilla, splenda) and just enjoying being together. What a great way to start the day!

                      I've got errands to run and schoolwork to do today, and tomorrow will be a 12 hour marathon of school work, too. But I'm up for it. Gotta get it done.

                      And next week is just a four-day workweek, as my 3.5 week vacation starts on Friday! wa hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                      I'm feeling good. I am also feeling that I have not been as focussed on my exercise as I'd like, mostly because I haven't been able to do weight training due to the stitches in my hand - it sorta made everything diminish slightly. So hopefully by the end of next week I'll be doing better in terms of duration and intensity. And during vacation I'l be able to run every day AND hit the gym, which will jump-start my fitness regime again!

                      Life.......life is awfully good. Share the joy today.

                            Evermind, great low-carb minds think alike! Enjoyed the same thing about the same time, but didn't know about putting a dash of vanilla in! Mmmmmm..... I guess there must be some phase of the moon causing chocaholism. We have another one on the board with cravings....

                            My day started out with some intensive workout -- snow shoveling! Haven't done that in YEARS! Weekends for me entail a lot of housecleaning and cooking, since the work week doesn't allow for any energy at the end of the day. There's always more work than weekend, so I'll feel like I got nothing done by Monday morning.

                            One thing I will do is make some Pork Ribs. I will have to roast them since I'm without a grill at the moment. I want to get one and use DH's birthday as an excuse (next Tuesday). It really helps staying on track to be able to throw a hunk of meat on and have some veggies at the end of a long day.

                              Well done for avoiding those Brownies! I am glad you are feeling better today.

                              Evermind - your mocha sounds delicious. Are you allowed that after induction? How do you make it?

                              I am sluggish today. I stuck to plan last night foodwise - mozerella, tomato and olive oil to start followed by steak, mushrooms and spinach. It was delicious! As it was a belated birthday night out, I had three glasses of dry white wine (I feel guilty telling you this LOL!). Boy did I pay for it! Thumping hangover at 4am and felt foggy headed all day. It's put me right off a repeat performance!

                              We had people looking at our house (for sale) today and so we had to evacuate! I had a double cheeseburger without ketchup for lunch. It wasn't great but it filled a whole.

                              Dinner was mozerella, parma ham and a tomato with olive oil.

                              Enjoy the rest of the weekend xx
