    Good morning STACERS!

    Wishing you all a wonderful day...a low carb day that is!

    Day 3 for me being back on track. Woke up feeling energized which is wonderful...brutal long & physically demanding day at work yesterday. Needless to say I was shocked at how great I feel this AM!!! I've also realized how much time I've wasted in the past few weeks by half a##ing this WOE. It just doesn't work. Last night I had a light bulb moment while reading a Stacers journal...I'm grateful for those words!

    Good Morning. I'm out the door in a moment for work. Day 3 for induction for me. Things are going well....I woke up about 2 hours ago though with a bag leg cramp. Owie. Those are the worst when you are half asleep. I am surprised that already this has happened. I'll have to take up the potas/magnes. Anyways..hope everyone has a great day. Be back in about 8 hours!

      Good Morning everyone!! I am going on day 4 and hanging in there. Not much planned for today.. I irritated my back yesterday (I have a herniated disc) and I am hurting pretty bad. AHH! Just when I am determined to work out. I am going to try to start walking tomorrow. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

        Good Morning All! I'm feeling upbeat today- I'm putting my feeling fat and discouraged day behind me! In fact, I might go shopping! I'm thinking of buying something in my goal size even though I'm no where close right now...have other people done this? Is it a waste of money or a good motivational tool?

          I have kept all of my "skinny" clothes and look at those size 6 jeans almost everyday to keep me motivated. Honestly, It seems to help me out tons! Wishing you a fun day of shopping! Go for it

            Morning!

            Glad to see everyone is back on track and feeling good.

            Instead of buying something at your goal weight, how about buying something one size down? You'll have a mini goal there and will be able to celebrate sooner. Don't postpone celebrations until the end.

            Two more days until my vacation. Wa hoo! This morning as dh and I lay snuggling in bed, pretending the alarm hadn't gone off, I realized that next week, the alarm WON'T go off! hah!

            Not much news to report. Have yummy lunch packed. Have a full day. Will work out at the gym this evening with dd. Life is good.

              good morning! present and accounted for!!! evermind, my spring break is next week too.....my daughter however is not off for two more weeks...and since her bus comes at 6:30, there is still no rest for the weary....but hey, it is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, huh?

                Hi Everyone.. I am sick I think I have whatever my daughter had I was suppose to have a long day at work...Safety meeting too... but there was no way I could go in.. I even had my food planned for the whole day...

                Hubby went to the grocery store this morning and bought 2 more roasts.. I have 4 roasts sitting in my freezer.. I LOVE roast.

                Bad part about Atkins when you are sick in your stomach with a virus you are suppose to eat the Brat diet.. Banana's, Rice, Applesauce and Toast.. No can do...

                  Good morning! It is a beautiful day in Georgia today! Had a great day yesterday. My step-daughter needed clothes for work (in all black) so we had to go shopping. I'm glad to say it was successful. Teenagers are difficult, but we came home with two pairs of pants and three shirts. I also bought some new pants for work. I tried on the 8's and I am very very happy to say that they were slightly big. I bought the 6's instead. I still have to have them hemmed. Ah, the joys of being 5' 2.5".

                    Hi Guys

                    Third weigh in today and same weight as last week (despite being two pounds down two days ago - humph). Am due on next week so may explain it. No PMS though which is great as I am normally a demon at this time!

                    Clothes fitting even better. I have bought quite a few things for my holiday so for the first time in ages, I am not just packing things that fit but things I actually feel good in and like. I have dropped a bra size too which is fab!

                    Amy, I would get one size smaller and you will feel great when you fit in to it. I did this and am already fitting in to it all! Great motivation!

                      Good morning!

                      12 days and going strong! I have hopped back on the advanced exercise wagon too. Feels great now that I'm a few days into it. Half an hour of kickboxing this morning. WOW was I a sweaty mess afterwards.

                      I too vote for the one size down shopping trip. I'm totally avoiding the scale this time around. It's done wonders for my attitude. I do have a smaller size pair of jeans hanging on my door that I will try on once a week to mark my progress.

                      Hoping everyone has a great on plan day!

                      p.s. Sandy, feel better. How about making some low carb chicken soup????

                        Hi I am restarting after a LOOOOONG break. Before I changed my sig I noticed I had 2 less kids the last time I was here.

                        I started Monday when the scale read a number I was very displeased with. Now it's Wednesday and I am already down 5 pounds.

                        Still I struggle. Monday was the worst. I had a headache all day long and the cravings were horrendous. But I pushed through and didn't succumb to any temptations.

                        Tuesday was a little better but I did cheat a bit. Still for the day I lost 1 lb which is good but I know if I don't cheat I can lose more than that in a day during induction.

                        Aside from easter candy piling up in the house, my biggest challenge is that I am nursing my youngest still. So other than that I am back and hoping to really lose some weight this time. - Well I lost about 45lbs the last time but 2 kids later I put it all back on and then some.

                        Any ways HI!

                          Hi All!

                          I feel down in the dumps this morning and I am not really sure why as I am normally a super cheerful person! I feel off the Atkins wagon the last two dinners and had thai. Now I am ready to get back on (esp after being up 1.5)! So I am motivated to keep going!!! Very motivated. So I am doing a few days of induction again to get back on track and back in ketosis...which I am out of at the moment.

                          Anyways, just feeling a little down!

                              Kind of nervous. Today is the first day of my weight training (legs today) in the program I've started. I'm nervous because I have to go to the gym all by myself and use equipment all by myself and I'm so self conscious, surrounded by all these huge guys.. I'm only 5'1" and I'm chubby and scrawny.. I feel like such an outsider over there. It's not so bad when I'm on the tredmill, because people of all sorts walk and run and whatnot.. but over at the weights?? Hooo.. I don't know how to do this alone.
