    Good Day all--
    Today is My Day One Induction. As I read the newest version of Atkins yesterday, I see that less fats are mentioned, bacon is missing, pork rinds non-existant. What gives? I thought these, as well as cream cheese, heavy cream, hollandaise, etc. were welcomeed. Any thoughts?

      HI STACERS!!

      Happy Thursday!! The weekend's almost here!

      Well I am back on track with re-inducting after my thai cheats two nights ago. I am feeling good and very motivated!!! I walked home from work yesterday and I plan on doing the same thing today! My bf is out tonight so I might hit the gym!

      I was wondering if any of you can help me? I put this is the post my menu place but i need help with what to eat today. Fitday totally confuses me!! I am on induction and I just had a question! I accidentally skipped breakfast because I was running out the door!

      My lunch is spaghetti squash and that cheese sauce that was posted on the forum a while ago (a cup of cheese, cream, onion, garlic)!

      I just don't know what to have for dinner that will keep me under my 20 net carbs! Can anyone suggest something since my lunch is from the limited selection menu in DANDR!
      Thanks so much guys!!! I really want to stay on track and don't want to go overboard on dinner after my carby lunch!

        Greetings!!!

        Feel perty dang swell this morning. Lost the 2 lbs I gained during my fat fest Vegas weekend extravaganza.

        I ended up going to the gym last night. Hubby came home early and hung out with the chitlins. I did 8 miles on the Wave Machine (simulates rollerblading) and followed that up with Boot Camp class - I'm a little sore this morning, but I welcome it - It feels good

        Have playgroup this morning (easter egg hunt with the urchins). Going back to the gym after nappytime - I plan on doing a solid hour of Wave Machine - possibly followed by running and/or weights.

        We are in the process of selling the laundromat we bought a few months ago - we close on Saturday!! Yipppppppeeeeeeeeee! It wasn't a bad business to have, it just wasn't our thing. We won't miss it at all

        Hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday!!!

          Good morning STAC'ers!

          Yesterday was a challenge. I had a dinner meeting with a client at a Mexican restaurant. My favorite.

          I stayed the course tho. No chips. No margarita's. No tortillas.

          I enjoyed fajitas. Treated myself to a diet coke. And drank lots of water.

          It was a nice night and I felt even better staying on plan

          This morning I did my Bowflex workout and my arms officially hurt to move

          Gonna make this another great on plan day and hope you do too!!

            i am a member of the STAC TOM club, as well, ha! ate TOO much last few days, was hungrier than the dickens. feeling much more in control today. i think the TOM munchies were reallly out of hand, and i have been eating low cal/low fat/low carb and that was too many 'low's for my body to take!!

            anyway, hope eveyrone has a good one!

                Thanks..But I wish you could see me here battling with myself.. I want a cookie.. no you don't.. yes I do.. no you don't... Just 1... now Sandy you know if you ate one it wouldn't be enough..and before you know it you will eat the box.. And then you will feel bad and then you will go through the house and eat everything else you aren't suppose too.. And you know how that will make you feel.. LIKE CRAP.. Fine..I won't eat the D**N cookies.. lol

                  Welcome Xhippee.

                  I'd recommend you get a copy of the 2002 DANDR. The most recent version published is an abomination born of marketing and has very little to do with Dr. Atkins' approach.

                        Beanpole have you ever entertained the idea that maybe your body likes where it is at right now? You are so close to what you have chosen for a goal weight. I know the closer you get to goal the slower you lose. You are also building muscle...muscle weighs more than fat. You should probably being going up the rungs to find your CCL. Just a thought. I'm sure you could post something asking the more experience folks about all of this.

                        I've thought about it, but I guess I just don't want to accept that notion. I'm actually up to 125lbs now. I need to change my ticker. Its just depressing. I kept hoping that I could make the numbers go down and continue lowering it where I left off. Unfortunately, my weight keeps going up. At this rate, I'm gaining weight every time I eat anything that isn't Atkin's friendly. I'm not losing anything either regardless of the length of time I spend on plan(my weight bounces up and down on the same few numbers at whatever weight I am). I don't want to settle for being this size, but right now there isn't anything I can do about it other than what I am doing. I've been posting for the 'experts' and giving everyone's advice a try in my attempt to identify my problem. I suppose I could move up the rungs and find my CCL as well. I'm just afraid that if I gain anymore, that I wont be able to get it off. I considered the muscle thing too, but my measurements aren't going down. I think my thighs have actually gotten larger and my jeans are tighter as a result. Thanks for posting! Appriciate the response!

                          That made me laugh, if I had a penny for every time I've done that! Stay strong.... the guilt and anger at your self later won't be worth a dumb cookie anyway
