  • Need help getting re..re started

    Hi all.. Years ago I have great success with atkins. Lost about 45-50lbs.. Well I ma back up about 30lbs. I need to lose 60lbs to my goal weight. I am scared I will not lose. Why am I scared.. no clue.. Any tips on getting restarted??? Please help i want to do this and need to do this for my health my blood pressure is not good nor my cholestrol I think if I post a before pic, it may motive me what do you think????

    Please help!

    I have read the book.. what do you reccommend for meals what do you like???

    I would suggest re-reading the book, taking your time and getting into it. I always find that reminds me of WHY IM DOING THIS...and that inspires my daily interactions. I would also say for me, this was not a diet, it was a shift to eating foods that I loved and made me feel better. I stand here today, and I've again allowed carbs back in, and the way my body felt these last few weeks has been very different that in a low carb state. I am starting day 3 of clean living again, and there are no more aches and pains in my joints or lower back. I am starting to feel less bloated and I am sure the energy is coming! My mood is up too! This is just as important as being at a thinner healthy weight for me.
    So, take notice as you get going to how you are feeling! (Once you are thru some detoxing and mental cravings).

        i am RE starting too!!!! I would say that one of my favourite little desserts for the induction phase is the pumpking pudding. It's cream cheese (3 oz), 1 cup pumpkin and splenda. It's great! i also LOVE having my buffalo wings (unbreaded, no sauce but add Frank's sauce)! It helps me get through.

        I also originally lost about 50 pounds and I have about 70 that I want to lose this time! Good luck!!!! We're rooting for you!
