  • Back to Atkins & ADBB!

Hello! Back in 2004, I started Atkins, and it did well for me. I lost 40 pounds, but got myself into a rut of eating the same things, and got bored. After stopping Atkins, I gained almost 40 back.

Just recently, I lost about 15 pounds following one of 'those' diets. Those 15 were so hard to get off. I'm back because Atkins worked for me.

I'm looking forward to learning my way around here again (feels like visiting old friends), and sharing in your motivating successes!

Welcome home. Your doing marvalously. I try new recipes all the time, some work, some don't, but I think it keeps me interested. MY new favorite is oopsie rolls made with eggs and cream cheese. They are like having sandwiches again. Last night I made Italian Meatball Sands with them and while not really bread, they come a close second.

Thanks! Your username sounds so familiar from when I was on ADBB back in '04-05. I was perusing some of the older posts from back then, and remembered so many names and pictures. It was wonderful!

My pic and stats at the very bottom were from my time here back then. When I logged on, I saw my 229 picture and just about cried! I can't wait to get back to 229 again! (and even lower!)

      Thanks for the welcome!

Yep thats me, same person. and you know what I thought you looked really familiar when I saw your picture. Don't leave us again girl, we need eachother. I started at 255 and lost down to 222, then kinna gave it up if you know what I mean. I started back at 245 and so we are very close in stats and amounts to lose. Let race. Im at 226 and so the first one to to break 10 pounds wins.

I am SO here! I stopped by Walmart on the way home tonight and stocked up my pantry and fridge with induction-friendly food, I dusted off my DANDR '02 and can't wait to start next week!
