    Good morning Stacers!

    My daily meditation today is inspiring. It talks about at this moment we are all that we need to be. That we all have an inner beauty & this is our true blessing. My favorite part of the meditaion is this:

    "Whatever our outer appearanace, it doesn't gently touch or bring relief where suffering is~like our words which come from the heart, the home of our inner beauty."

    Morning all!

    Woke up this morn at 4am. Super... Scale is the same.
    Have an Easter Egg hunt at the gym today for the Urchins. After that, we have a neighborhood hunt. Then it's off to check out open houses. Although I like my house, we've outgrown it. It's only 2700 sq -I'm looking at 3500-4000sq. Not that we're ready to move right now - the market sucks wind, but it's still fun to look.
    After all of that fun and excitement, I have to take my oldest, Sebastian, to the airport to fly out to Indiana to spend Spring Break with his Father. I hate it when he leaves. At least it's only a week.

      good morning. just got finished eating breakfast. well..sort of. i just wasn't in the mood for eggs anymore so i had a salad with chicken in it. my husband thought this was most strange as he fried up his bacon and eggs. oh well. it satisfied me!

      tonight we are visiting with some family and i am anticipating that it might be tough. in past visits, it is always pizza, chips, beer. all that fabulous stuff. anyone have any ideas for an easy snack that i can bring over that is legal? i don't feel like i have to explain the whole atkins thing to everyone..always leads to different opinions etc..so i just want to be like okay here's a HEALTHY snack..not here's my LOW CARB snack.

        Well, 10 inches of snow piled up last night. YUCK! I am trying to get myself motivated to exercise this morning. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me on induction. I am nervous about weighing and measuring. I hope there is a little change. I have been reading how everyone is dropping a lot during induction but honestly I don't really feel it yet.           Hi,

          I'm back. I've been on and off since January and ashamed that my ticker hasn't moved since then so I've not posted! I've been doing 'extended' induction but it seems the weight just isn't moving. I've lost track of the days and am just focused on eating well. I'm sure I've lost inches but haven't measured myself lately.

          So, I've started a paper journal to keep track of the days. I'm drinking coffee as I need it and it doesn't cause cravings for me. But I think I should cut out the cream I have in it. I'm also drinking an aspartame flavoured sparkling water. I'll cut that out too and see how I'm doing after a week.

          Good to have found this space. The support here is amazing and keeps me going - even when I was in my 'lurking' period.

          Are there really people out there who don't think about food and weight all the time? I so want to be one of those people.

          As many have posted before me here. I don't really find this a 'diet' - its just a healthy way to eat and live.

            Glenda: that's a great thought for the day... Thanks!
            Colleen: 4000 sq ft ain't all it's cracked up to be... It's a heck of a lot to keep clean! I can't wait to down size now... but the market... son's still in school... etc... sorry you're gonna miss your son this week... that's gotta be tough.
            Mrs. S: Meatballs, Hotwings, Chicken, Veggie Tray, Cheese Tray, Nuts.... bring 1 or 2 and then throw in a couple treats in your purse in case you get hungry... it's a good idea to have emergency food.
            Minimom: I'd have a hard time in the snow too... go try on your bathing suit! maybe that will help with the motivation... it helps me... but I live in california...
            Peacefuljourney:Welcome back! Yes, it's a great way to eat and live...

            Planning on having a quiet day... but then I realized my son has a track meet at Torrey Pines... so no more quiet day... We'll be going to see that and maybe for a walk on the beach after that. Have lots of legal leftovers in the fridge... chicken and steak... about to make breakfast omlets... then we're off. Have a wonderful day everyone!

              Morning. Just checking in before I leave for an urgent care appt. for both me and dd. DD came back from her cruise with a rash all over her body, which colloidal oatmeal baths, cortisone and benadryl have not eased. I have some bad hip pain again and since I'm leaving for NYC on Monday and it is cold there, I think I need to get some more muscle relaxants.

              Feeling good except for the pain. But also feeling bloated, because You-Know-Who is coming sometime in the next week. Oh, joy.

                    Good Afternoon.. I went to breakfast with my daughter and her bf.. Then ran by the video store and picked up a couple of movies..and by the library. Been home watching movies all afternoon.

                    My 18 year old son left today to go to the beach with some friends until Monday and I am a nervous wreck. I am so afraid he is going to get into trouble
