    Good Morniing Everyone Happy Saturday I have had a great week and am going to work on having a great weekend. I am working at the camp tonight and you know there are LOTS of temptations there. But I am two pounds from my lowest and I want to be there next week and below Capri's here I come.

    I might spend the night over there tonight to save on gas. Its an hours drive and I go to church on Sunday there too so anything to save a little.

    My bosses are usually really good about letting me do that.

    I just want to encourage you all to make it through the weekend cheat free!

    Hi Sandy,

    Just checking in from the other side of the sea. Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. I'm backed up on work so this weekend will be a working one for me. Hope I can buckle down and get it done today so I can spend Sunday with the children.

    My son's friend had a birthday party at McDonald's - he now feels sick after eating that food. Why do people still do that for their children? That restaurant sure knows how to lure in the youngsters and get them hooked on that salty, fatty food early.

    Sitting here with bacon and eggs. Stirfry planned for dinner. Feeling very good about myself - weigh in is on Sunday but regardless, I feel 'lighter.'

      Morning All! Thank you everybody for sending sunshine my way today. (high of 42 today) I resisted the pizza party last night. Yeah me. My sister in law was kinda rude about it though. I told her I would like to lose 20 pounds and she looked at me and said "20 pounds.. Yeah right, You can't do that" I kept my cool and thought to myself.. I'll show you. Not very nice huh? I am still feeling under the weather.. If I am not better by Monday I am going to go to the Doctors. Talk to ya later..

          well the weatherman says it should get to a whopping 45 degrees today. that actually won't be too bad compared to the last few we've had!

          mimom- i understand how you feel. my in laws always have weird things to say when/if they find out i am on a "diet". this time around i'm not saying too much because as soon as someone hears low carb or atkins they have a field day. and i swear to you, sometimes i think my MIL would purposely cook non-atkins friendly dishes when i was around. then she'd be like "you never eat" when i'd pass on the carbs. geeeesh. okay clearly i could keep rambling here. but it is tough dealing with people's comments, assumptions about this lifestyle. and how rude! you sure can lose 20 lbs!

          anyways..i'm hanging out with a dear friend of mine today..who is also low carbing! we always have a great time and can vent and get support from eachother.

            LOL...I still eat at McDonald's sometimes... My son had a party there when he was 3 too..lol

                ANYway!, just checking in. I started good this week, had two lousy days due to unpreparedness and am regrouping today. I don't know why I boil only 12 eggs at a time, they go FAST! So I'll whip up dozen and a half today, maybe a full two dozen. Want to do 10 miles on the r.bike today, and again tomorrow. Also 25 crunches each day. I got the ab lounge but am going to build up really slowly on that because of the weak lower back. Last year, I learned how slowly very weak muscles will get stronger so I need to put the same practice I did for my legs in for my back. A little at a time...

                Just got to pull myself away from this darn system and get going here!

                  Scale is still the same.. So what else is new?

                  Yesterday, I swam 1550 yds, in 45 min. My new goal is 2000 in an hour.
                  Today is my day off from the gym. I have to pick Sebastian up from the airport tonight - I'm so happy he's back home. I hate it when he leaves. I always think he'll come home with the dreaded "I want to live with my dad" That would break my heart, although, I think it's totally normal for him to think it would be fun - why not, he has no rules, no consequences, nothing while out there.
                  Anyhooooooooooooooo... Pretty boring day today. Going to do some groc shopping as soon as hubby comes home from doing the banking for the store.

                  Hope everyone has a super fun day!

                    HI Terry.. Nice to see you here! I prefer my eggs fresh each day.. I like them warmer when I eat them on the run then ice cold..

                      I always LOVE it when the kids come home too.. Like wehn they are at camp for a 5 days.. Both of them have been with friends on a vacation for 7 days and that was hard hard hard.. But the hardest was when my son went on a missions trip for 10 days and they called home once and I missed it! We had no other ways of communication.

                        Good morning everyone! I am sitting here with a pot of eggs boiling on the stove and sausage ready to go! Today is Day 2 for me, so I'm just trying to take it one day at a time. I had a very long and stressful day at work yesterday followed by dinner at my parents house. They have au gratin potatoes and mac-n-cheese that I was REALLY wanting to eat because those are 2 of my favorite things, but I DIDN'T! Not even a taste! Score for me! I just ate some chicken and broccoli and no snacking before bed.

                        I feel pretty good today! Except its 35 degrees and I'm sick of being stuck in the house all weekend every weekend. I want to take my child out to play!! He's afraid of snow for whatever bizarre reason so playing outside is not an option lol

                          Thank you for the support. I will do it! I will show her! It makes me want to work out more and be more dedicated then ever when someone tells me I can't do something. I swear the people around me lately are really being discouraging about me losing weight. My Mom this morning told me she was going to buy diet pills to help her curb her appetite I then said "ya know if you drink water it is a natural appetite suppressant and it raises your metabolism" Then I said "I already drank 32 oz this morning and worked out" Her response was.. "Your obsessed with this diet and exercising, your going to get sick" AHHH! I am not having such a good weekend. Thank you all for letting me vent.. I am done now.

                            Good morning folks. Has spring sprung in your area yet. I don't think anyone told the Pacific Northwest that we were having global warming..

                            My gym locker rooms are being renovated so I haven't been able to get in to check on my official weight loss on their scales, so last night I snuck in between and was two pounds down. It is so awesome when a plan comes together.

                              Hi Sandy! You're one of the very few I recognize on here!

                              I like warm eggs, too, but I just don't have the time or inclination to cook all the time. Not to mention the dishes... LOL! I need to do more of "Big Batch" cooking so cooking is minimal over the week.

                              My sister has been totally dug into getting smaller and has been my main encouragement in the family this time. Going to do what she's doing and write everything down everything that I eat or drink (including vitamins and meds) and start analyzing the heck out of it all. I hate to count calories but I think I'm going to have to for a while, just to see where it all shakes out. Portions are more than likely a huge issue with me (as well as not being prepared with the correct foods...)
