I posted about this in the recipe request section but I haven't had a response so I'm hoping a STACer or two can help!

I had sautéed spinach at a Turkish restaurant called Sofra and it was amazing!! It made me want to eat spinach for every meal! I have no idea how they made it, though! I'm thinking that I probably won't be able to find their recipe but does anyone have a good sautéed spinach recipe?

    Thanks!!

    Re: Spinach

    Hi Amy,

I love spinach with bacon. I fry the bacon until as crisp as you want it. Then I add a bag of spinach and fry until done. Yummy. Sometimes I'll add a little ranch dressing on the top after it's done.

Here is a Turkish recipe, which might be quite close to what you had.

Those all sound so yummy! I knew you guys would come through! Kate, the recipe you posted seems quite close to what I had but without tomato and yogurt. The tomato and yogurt could only make it better though! I'm so looking forward to trying all these recipes! I'm such a fan of spinach! It is funny to me how I'm excited about spinach but three months ago I wouldn't have even considered it. When I was at the Turkish restaurant all the people I was with had rice or bread with their meals but I ordered spinach instead and we all agreed that mine was way more flavourful than any of theirs. I never ever would have made that substitution though if it weren't for this WOE. I'm discovering so many foods that I really like that I would never have thought of ordering before! Thank you so much again, everyone! I'll be making all of these soon and will report back!!
