    morning, going out for a walk soon. Where did the sunshine go? It's cold! and cloudy! I think I couldn't sleep last night because I had some iced tea later in the evening... gosh that's so frustrating! Then I ate something I shouldn't have... ( cereal of all things! haven't had that in like 10 months!) So, gotta get walking... back to induction for me today.

          ugh i really hope it is water. i just feel like such a failure..that sounds kind of dramatic but what the heck?! i never expected the scale to be UP after 3 weeks. my TOM has been so wacky...came early..seems to be staying late..so i am hoping that after it all settles down that i will drop a few. otherwise i just don't know...wah.

            Mrs. S.. I am the same exact way today. I am up 6 pounds though. I can't seem to figure it out. I am following induction perfectly, exercising every day and drinking so much water it is coming out my ears. Talk about stressed and feeling like a failure. I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe TOM?? (in a week though) It stinks that I am gaining or stalled all the time but I am still determined to keep trying. I feel your pain!

              ugh mimom-at least someone is going through the same thing. and the water thing-ditto. water water water. how much more do i need to chug?

              i hope in the next few days, week we are talking about what a big whoosh we just had!

                You can say that again! Looks like we are around the same age and weight. How tall are you? I was thinking I might up my workouts to twice a day.

                        Bad bad day for me today. I didn't prepare for the day which led me to fail. Got my water in, and lunch was good; but dinner was not. Back to it tomorrow. I feel like such crap and it wasn't even food I really WANTED; it was just kinda there and I really just had a stupid weak dumb moment.

                          Mrs S and Mimom, I was having trouble getting my induction to kick in on earlier tries at this WOE the second time around. I called a halt and then looked at other supporting elements of my life. I think it makes a difference that I am now over 40.
                          Here are some things that I tried and I think they are working.

                          ** supplements. follow the book. I added omega3 fish oils, acetyl L-carnitine, and and chromium picolinate in recommended doses. I also like evening primrose

                          ** herbal 7 day detox (picked this up from my health food store). This colon cleanse got my functions moving and helped.

                          ** deep breathing, yoga, relaxation and sleep.

                          ** You need to GIVE YOUR BODY permission to let go. This is the spiritual part of the journey.

                          Writing this helps ME keep on track!! Mahalo.
