    Good morning Stacers,

    Last night as I was surfing ADBB it hit me how couragous the members are. Pictures are posted, joys & struggles are shared and weights & measurements are shared. That takes courage to put so much of oursleves out there. Big kudos to everyone! Hopefully we are all finding peace as we work towards our goals & gain insight on the issues that brought us here.

    Hi,

    Just checking in. Had a bad day yesterday. Ate well for breakfast and lunch and had my dinner planned but someone threw it out? ate it? Then our children's nanny prepared 'bryndzove halusky' - basically potates/eggs/flour mixed together and boiled - looks like gnocchi with sheep cheese and bacon bits. I was so hungry I ate a serving.

    So, starting induction again today. Sigh... I was deep into ketosis for well over a month. I can relate to those of you who have caved lately. Looking forward to starting again. Also, had bacon for breakfast - can't eat another egg right now.

      Good Morning... Happy Hump Day! This has felt like a long week. I haven't worked at all....since my car is still in the shop... I have my husbands truck to use but I do a lot of driving for work and its not worth spending the gas in that and making what I make.. It would be different if I had a job that I just went there and worked and came home..

      I was so looking for a whooshie this morning.. I had a nice steak last night... UGH up a 1lb.. This is where I get discouraged.. I get back on track and the scale doesn't move.. I know I need to keep on and I am working at it... I just hate that I get into a rut of taking 5days to lose anything.. Scale hasn't moved since last Friday... Its been a hard week too.. I am wanting Chocolate...

      Feeling good though..Between getting back on track and going to the Chiropractor I feel like a new women...lol

        Good morning, I've got one eye open. Just sorta taking it all in right now. Ate totally legal yesterday, and yet too much food. But I am firmly convinced that my body thrives here on these foods. I am seeking my groove. Because I want what this way of eating gives me. I want it.

            Good morning everyone!

            Ozlover, unfortunately I'm not one of the courageous ones! LOL! But I'm here anyway, just trudging along.

            Peacefull, that sounds like something I would love. Like gnocchi? Maybe someday we can work up to a sweet potato version. If you're tired of eggs, why don't you make up some sausage. Are flax seed muffins legal for induction?

            Sandy, my whole weight loss has been like that. Maybe I'll lose a pound every week or two. I'm hoping for a TOM whooshie now, but it hasn't happened yet. You just have to be patient and persistant. I tell myself that even if I only lose 1lb a week, that still adds up to 52lbs in a year and I'll take it!

            Jess, do you have any exercise goal that you're working toward? Having an upcoming athletic event always seems to make you so motivated. No marathons on the horizon?

            Mrs S, just trucking, or trudging in my case, here too!

              Just checking in. Quick question.. I have heard of gaining weight before and during TOM.. How much is the most you will gain? And will your weight go back down after?

                  I'm here! I swear I am!!! I'm doing well - down 1.6 lbs which was exciting this morning!

                  I've bought jeans and such and it's fun that even a size 8 from Victoria's Secret (which usually run small) are a little loose! What a nice feeling - better than any # on a scale!

                  I can't wait for Spring to actually arrive! Yesterday was awesome at 75 degrees - today it's windy and chilly.

                    Hello, hello!

                    Yesterday, I met with my trainer and had a nice meeting. Talked about my eating, working out, etc.. My body fat hasn't changed at all in 4 months - with all the working out I do, it was discouraging. I guess 18% isn't bad, but I expected lower and it WILL be lower. My body doesn't want to budge. So I'm going to play around with a few things to see if that jump starts it.

                    Yesterday, I ran 3 miles and followed it up with yoga class - was really nice.

                    Today, I have boot camp class. I'm debating if I should work out beforehand - the class is a total arse kicker

                        peacefuljourney----i'm with ya sister. but we're back on the wagon together!!

                        sandy--good job on avoiding chocolate. DO NOT let one pound get you off track...food is not going to make you feel better but for the 5 minutes you are eating it, then you will feel ONE HUNDRED times worse. stay strong.

                        colleenie--you are so freaking fit!!! 18%??? that is amazing!!! you work out more than ANYONE, you must have abs you can bounce a nickel off of or whatever that phrase is. great job!!!

                        for me, i am back on track, i think i am back in ketosis as my stomach is flat and my appetite is gone. NOT getting on scale until next monday, because i am pretty sure i am in the 143-145 range, and seeing the number will only make me freak out. i will be back down to my good ole' 140 by monday i bet, and THEN i need to get it in gear and knock off those last 3 pounds!! colleenie, i know you have been struggling with the last 3-5 pounds as well. it's tough!

                        off to run some errands and then meeting with a realtor this afternoon. my face is healing really well from the face plant over the weekend, thank goodness b/c i was worried the rug burn would leave a huge scar on my nose.

                            I just figured out how to ticker at ticker.com! Now I'm feeling like a regular STACer.

                            The sun has just come up and the DH and boys just left the house. It is one of those peaceful quiet moments where I can reflect before I start my day.
