    Good morning everyone!

    Man o man the weather is horrible in Colorado today!! It's close to freezing temps. and snowing!! It's supposed to be Spring! I'm so sick of snow I wish it'd just be summer already, Colorado has the strangest weather I swear one day it'll be upper 60's and the next i'll wake up and there will be snow on the ground and it'll be freezing outside!

    So anyways! I did good last night, I kept myself busy cleaning up the basement so i'd stay away from the kitchen and the temptations lurking in there. I'm getting closer to my weight that I was at a couple weeks ago, I'm 151 today so I'm hoping to be back at 148 by Monday and THEN I'll be back on track and ready to drop some lbs/inches!!

    Keep up the good work everyone! We can do this!

      good morning. wearing my favorite size 6 GAP PLAID dress pants. my fitted dress shirt is too big. hhhmmm......this atkins thing must really work!

      good to see all the optimism and positive thoughts here today.

      i posted in my journal last night but wanted to share here too.....had the followup with my cardiologist yesterday. he said that taking into account my cholesterol, supplements, exercise, weight, stress test (running 10 mins. on a treadmill at 14% incline!).....in his medical opinion, i have a 0% chance of having a heart attack!!!

      once again i tell ALL THE ATKINS NAYSAYERS TO SIT BACK DOWN!

          ha ha miss z...yes. i had BOTH parents die of heart attacks so it is a HUGE RELIEF! that being said, i can't slack off! i am such a nut! my actual "score" on the test (i am not usre how it was derived, something to do with the EKG and BP) was 98% and i wanted to know how to get 100%. i am such a FREAK!

                Aloha,
                The battery died on my scale. Its a good thing! I'm not focused on weighing myself every minute.
                I finally have that feeling that I am in a solid ketosis, and I've been straight and narrow every since my slip at a luau function. It's just becoming a habit, and I'm more relaxed about the WOE.
                Whew. It is a relief and I feel good. I'm sure the weight will follow in its own time. The watched pot never boils!

                  Busy day working on DD's apt. She moves in this weekend. Exercise today consisted of climbing the stairs to her 3rd floor apt 7 times today...my knee is protesting violently. Cleaning & hanging curtains etc...
