  • Roll Call - Saturday 4/12/08

    Good Morning Everyone... I must be the only nut that still gets up early on the weekends. I have never been able to sleep in.

    Just would like to report that I made it through yesterday without cheating. I said.. I want to be down when TOM goes away... and if I continue to eat the way I was....the scale was going to be up.

    The weather here was gorgeous yesterday...82.. So I said.. I have got to fit in some of those capris in my closet. So I went trying them all on.. I managed 5 pairs! YAY.. The ones that aren't comfortable are jean ones...I have about 3 pairs of those. They all still have their tags on them... I just kept telling myself I was NOT going to buy any new ones....

    Working today in the Dining Hall.... I have a potluck tomorrow after church. Can't figure out what I can take.. If we have leftover chicken from last night I am going to take a piece for me...and we always have a Salad at these dinners. I just won't be home until 9 tonight and won't feel like cooking. In the morning I might just go by the store and grab a dessert for my part.

      Hi everyone

      Another half a pound down this morning (3.5 in three days). I am so happy!

      I am so close to Onederland now that I can taste it!

      We are going out for lunch in a minute - I will have a salad (and take some dressing from home). I know it sounds a bit sad but I don't like eating out at the moment as I don't trust what is in my food. Salad seems the only way....

            Good morning all!!!

            I haven't posted here in a while, but I read everyday...

            Well, after a lot of ups and downs, I finally hit the 130's!!! I am so PSYCHED!!!!

            I'm praying that I can keep it together next week, as I am going to Florida for the holidays, and we will be eating out pretty much for all meals

            I'm going to try to play a lot of tennis to burn those calories!!!

            Oh, and Sandy, congrats on the capris!! Such a great feeling....I just took a bunch of pants I bought over the last few months to get get hemmed and when I tried them on they were all loose!!!

            Keep it up everyone!!! We can do this!!!!

              Congratulations Lisa on being in the 130's! I had to ask my daughter if this pair of capri's look dumb..because they are sagging in the tummy area... But I wear an apron at work that will cover it..lol

                Good Morning

                Just checking in from cold, rainy (snow tonight) Michigan. I am on my 2nd day of supplements and I am hoping for a whoosh soon. I try not to be negative and give up but this stall has really got me down in the dumps. I continue to work out everyday and stay strict on induction.

                It is so AWESOME to hear that all of you are having luck and losing. This is what keeps me going. I hope everyone has a great day!

                  Good morning. So much good news here today. Yea! I'm just up a pound, but I think I had too much salt yesterday. I'm not worried. Nasty weather and maybe snow tomorrow, but I'm going for a long walk anyway.

                      good morning. felt so good to sleep in and have a day off of work!!! went to the baseball game yesterday (yay tigers!!). it was soo cold and rainy the entire time but we stuck it out. had awesome seats..3 rows up on the first baseline woo! i had two hotdogs (no bun) that were delicious but i am feeling the effects of that sodium now. will weigh in tomorrow. have a great day!

                        Beautiful day here with the sun shining & the snow melting! After a busy work week I'm looking forward to a day of R & R. Didn't weigh in this week but no worries. TOM has finally arrived & my mood has improved.

                          Mission of the day is to go and restock my freezer with meat and fish.

                          I really should be trying to put a dent in the 20,000 words I need to be writing for various assignments etc, but I soooooooooo can't be bothered.

                            I worked out yesterday...It was hot :whew:....I am resting for Sat and Sun. So I will be back Sunday evening posting my stats for the week on my journal. Her in CA the weather is great for some reasona and I feel as of summer has kicked in!
