  • Jumping on board again!

Thank God for second chances and this second time around club huh! My name is Trina and I have done low-carb for some time, I started back in 1999 and then got off for a while (bad marriage) and gained a lot of it back plus more. I divorced in 2001 and that is where I picked up low-carbing again to try to get some confidence back, and as always it worked.

I started dieting and working out and the weight dropped pretty quickly but of course I would stick to it for awhile and then here came vacation or some other function and all my hard work would be out the window... This past September, my husband and I went to Jamaica for our 1 year wedding anniversary and of course the food and the drinks were AWESOME and so of course off the wagon I went once again. I have a confession, after we got back from Jamaica I said I was going to try Weight Watchers and see how it works for me. Well as you can see I am back because of course WW did not work for me like Atkins does.

So I started back on Atkins this morning, I got up an hour early and walked 2 miles on my treadmill, ate 2 scrambled eggs, sausage patty and a link sausage and have drank almost 40 ounces of water this morning. I am so thankful that there are message boards like this with great people on board to help motivate you and keep you going. I look forward to getting on here more often and getting to know everyone.
