Hi to all.This is my first post in this forum.I have finally admitted and accepted that I belong here,despite my excuses.I am too ashamed to mention the number of times I quit Atkins.But that is in the past.I am now firmly focussed on the present and future, with the goal of being dedicated to Atkins from this point on.I would deeply appreciate any support and words of encouragement you have to offer.

i am struggling to get my exercise in....for 2 days in a row, sunday and monday, i didnt do anything

Welcome Sarc! You can do it!!! Each time you have to make a decision to turn the carbage down, it gets easier, IMO. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit so lets work together and make this WOL a habit!
cgdat - Ugh! I know all about dragging through a workout with zero energy! I find that my energy sometimes has ups and downs. Some days I'm zipping through and some days, I find it takes everything I've got to make myself do the workout(I try talking myself out of it all the time
). Hope you find your energy soon! Hang in there and keep trying!

Yes, our taxes are done! Yea!
Last night was my belly dance class. I can't tell you how much fun it is! There were just 6 of us at the instructors house. All sizes, shapes and ages. We wore our jingly hip scarfs and practiced our moves and laughed and talked and when it was over, we stayed another 40 minutes just talking. I'm already sore, but I know tomorrow will be worse. I'm going to be good and practice everyday. She's a nurse and talked about anatomy a lot. Belly dancing is supposed to be great for the "pelvic girdle." It helps with the saggy belly, backaches, neck aches and it just makes you feel great!

I'm here too! I've lost track of how many times I've "re-started" Atkins. But here I am, once again!
Sheepie I'd LOVE to try a belly dancing class. That would be so cool! I wish we had something like that around here. *sigh*

I'm here..... it's a great day - WHY? Because I don't have anywhere I need to be!! I know that can sound funny - but for the past week (and tomorrow) I have been running all over creation for different reasons. And since a guy didn't call me back - I have nowhere to go today. So I'm not rushing my day!
Slept in until 7 - took a nice hot shower.... came in here to report and check a few things....
We may do the ice cream recipe sheepie sent me to the other day - the one in the ziploc bag. I'm still craving it.

Good morning all! It's been a rough few weeks for me. To say it's been a struggle is an understatement. I went so far as to recommit on Friday only to find out that the will power really wasn't there and of course didn't stay on plan. I feel like I'm back in control again today. I was a little upset over the weekend when my Levi's that were getting bigger actually fit me instead. I hated that feeling. We've had a lot going on in our lives right now and I realized this morning as I was making breakfast for my step-daughter so she'd have a good hearty meal before testing today, that I have let the priorities slip a little bit. I have to remain at the top for this to work for me. I won't fall back into the ruts again. So, in a way, I am restarting Akins again. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just don't want to be stuck at the other side looking at what could be. I want to be a slamming success story.
Anyway, this was just a "Hi" and I wish you all a super Atkins day!

Good Morning everyone.
I am back on track yet again for the 100 millionth time. This is only day 2 but I guess a girl has to start some where.
I like the idea of belly dancing. I checked with a studio here in town to get some more information... I would really like to be able to take my daughter with me to the class. It sounded like they would accept children into the class as well.
Hope all of you are doing well.How does one become a butterfly?
You must want to fly so much that you're willing to give up being a caterpillar.

Morning all!
Good start to the day - scale down to 113 - yippeeeeeeeeee!
I have incorporated whole grains and fruit into my menu and my body seems to be happy - I have dropped 4lbs in 3 weeks. Who'da thunk?
Ran a few miles yesterday, did upper body resistance and followed that up with spin class - whew! I was tired, but it felt great
I'm thinking about joining a running club - we run a 5K, then meet back at the athletic club for a microbrew social- Beer... oh how I love good, yummy beer...
Today is running and yoga - nothing too exciting.
Haven't been on in a while - thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing! I see a lot of new "faces" around here
