  • I'm Back!!

    I'm Back!! I see a couple of people that I remember but alot of new faces too.

    Here's a little about me. I first followed Atkins about 5 years ago, lost alot of weight (can't remember totals), then fell off, tried South Beach, tried general low carb, had success with both but never quite the success of Atkins. So, here I am again... needing to lose about 35 pounds.

    I started on March 31 and have lost 6.5 pounds so far. I just don't see the weight dropping off like I have in the past. I'm sure it's a combination of getting older and doing so much yo-yo dieting. I have committed to drinking my water to see if that helps.

    Any suggestions for someone doing it the second time around?

    Aloha Mary,
    You are in the right place. I'm back with you! I lost my first time, and became so fit.
    As I have slipped, my scales have ticked up.
    I've been at it for about a month. You'll find great support here. Congratulations for making the decision!

        I'll watch out for you if you watch out for me!
        I'm waiting for that big whooshie, and am sure it should come any day.
        But the great part is I just feel better on this WOE.

              I do have advice, live it like weight was not an issue, feeling good and eating right was. For me low carb makes me thrive, so I am eating to live, not to loose weight, even tho I do want to loose about 10lbs, my focus has shifted to getting back into a good strong routine! We are so glad to have you!
