Well I first startind this WOE in March of 07' I got down thirty pounds and was on and off this WOE for the rest of the year. Well I completely went off the wagon in February and have gained back all the weight I had lost. Needless to say I am very upset with myself for gaining back the weight and vow to stick to it forever. I have faced facts. I am a carb addict. I can't just have a little. Sugars are definately my down fall....I have a major sweet tooth and this time around instead of trying to quiet it with "legal" treats I am going to ignore it completely. I know I can do this. I hate how my body looks right now and I am determind to lose my weight again and then some. The good the I have learned from this whole thing is that I have proved to myself that I can lose weight and that "taking a break" just isn't worth it too me. I am not able to just get right back on track...it is too hard! I have also learned that I have to make exercise a priority. I lost 30 pounds and I didn't really see too much change in my body...at least the shape of it. So now I know that if I want to really do this and really see the results in my body, I have to exercise....plain in simple. Sure the weight will come off but it will come off faster and my body will look leaner if I exercise. SO I am going to exercise!!!

Morning Star, you know our bodies, they just handle carbs the wrong way. We store the excess as fat. Then we go looking for more. I've been struggling all year, but in the struggle I think I've come to some truth, and I need to act accordingly.

I'm impressed that you recognized this so quickly and are rededicating yourself to Atkins. I waited years to jump back on the wagon, and that makes it all the harder.
