Well guys, I had a slip up last night. I cooked a lovely beef bourguinon in the crockpot and was about to dish up when I saw a bag of prawn crackers right next to it and yep, you guessed it - temptation got the better of me and before I knew it, I had eaten about half a bag! It's not good.... but I didn't use it as an excuse to then have other carbs like I used to so it wasn't terrible. The max I ate was half a pack so 14.5g carbs which pushed me up to 37g carbs for the day. I am hoping it will not have knocked me out of ketosis. This morning the ketostik turned light pink (low levels).
The carb creep had crept in. I had terrible PMS last week and allowed myself an alcoholic drink each night to try and calm me down (LOL! It worked). Unfortunately, this has continued this week so I need to get back on induction for a few days and get back in control.
I am going for a walk along the Thames this morning with my daughter and some friends and then will do a work out when the kids are asleep at lunch time.
I have a weight goal set up on fitday. I have always been just above target and below the red guide line of where I have to be... until today - I have hit the red line so I need to lose just under 8 pounds a month or I won't acheive what I set out to do....
I am determined to push on.. I know this is a dangerous time as I am getting lots of compliments already but I still have a lot to lose and need to get on with it and do the job!!
