  • Roll Call Sat 4/26

    Attitude, oh attitude! Some times Im up, sometimes I'm down, sometimes I need to turn it around! (It's a song I sing to kids and a motivational talk I give to them teaching them about turning it around)

    I've been focused on turning it around for 2 weeks. I've worked so very hard at it, and I've done it! Ketosis is here, and that diminished appetite is here. I am very excited about this.

    I am letting the energy and excitement of this present success to spill over into all the other areas of my life that need my drive!

    This morning I keep thinking about my attitude and keeping it up, and moving forward.

    Today I'm paying attention to me. All the errands/house chores I need to do can wait until tomorrow.

      good morning! off to do my workout videos soon and then my massage is today!!! i can't wait. trying to cut out a lot of things from my diet, as i suspect a yeast problem.



      and of course, the weather would turn colder on this day off of work!! oh well, soon i will be getting massaged and then taking a fabulous steam shower.

        Morning!

        Had a sleepover at my pals house last night - kinda a Mom's night in. Around 9 mom pals laughing our hineys off - was a ton of fun.

        Yep, I drank WAY too much last night and feel like doo-doo this morn - going to the gym later to run some bloat off - yick!

          Good for you Jess. Focus and you'll get there. I am trying to do the same! Thanks for your advice over the past week x

          It's a gorgeous sunny day here in England. My kids are having great fun in the garden.

          I am on track foodwise. Aching after my workout yesterday! I took my youngest for her swimming lesson this morning which was fun.

                Good morning everyone ......... I'm on day 6 of re-induction after several weeks or more of eating bad! Yesterday I fought bad cravings but won the battle ........ today seems easier for me lets hope I am over that hump! It feels good to be back on track ....... I have a mission and I intend on finishing it!

                      Probably wondering, who is this chic who keeps starting the posts in the morning nowadays???
                      Well that would be me, the girl who returned to basics, and restarted things. The girl who lost all the weight, kept doing great things, but slowly was loosing control. Im the girl, who slowly disappeared, not sticking to the basics that keeps me going.
                      I thought I could just relax and let things go, and I did. Gained 10lbs, can't get in my favorite shorts and those size 6 jeans. Thought I would be able to just stop the fall at any second. I monitored my food, didn't eat sugars very often. Experimented with good carbs.

                      In my "basics" skill set, is this committment to start each day here. Reading and focusing on my diet plans. I also work out the daily exercise. Rode 20miles with DH yesterday morning on our "adventure ride" (let's see where this road goes). Slowly I've taken back control over my actions. One step at a time. Day 13 is here. I am pleased to be here!

                      Basic habits really are my secret weapon. Keeping small promises really increases confidence and will power. As I've gotten out of the tangles that the carb-web created, I am getting more and more free of foods and their pull. More settled into a lifestyle that has proven to work great for me. My basics led me here. I've worked very hard to get here and now as I am learning, will work HARDER to stay here.
