    Has anyone heard from SANDY re: Virginia Tornados?

    hi yall,

    just checking if anyone has heard from Sandy b/c the tornados in VA seem to have struck i think just west and just east of her.....anyone local have any info? okkbbbby?? dana???

    As far as I can remember, she is in northern Virginia. She shouldn't have been affected at all. The tornados were on the east coast right below Norfolk and right below Richmond. Thank goodness no one was killed.

      My rememberer is not too good, so maybe she is down near Williamsburg, which means the tornados were East and West of her. She might have had some high winds.

              Oh my gosh.. I am so sorry I haven't posted.. I am FINE.. I am in Williamsburg and the Tornadoes were close to us but I am not affected.. They were about 1/2 and hour to 45 minutes away..

              It was so scary that day.. I was at DMV getting my daughters learner's permit...she passed by the way.. So I was getting ready to leave...and my husband called and told me to go back in.. I knew nothing of what was going on.. So I was standing by the door and this man was talking to someone on the phone who was bawling...she was crying so hard I could hear her.. I thought it was his daughter but it was his wife... She lives about a mile from my house.. At that time the Tornado's were over us but didn't come down...

              So once it cleared up I was heading home..and at the same time my daughters boyfriend texted and said where one was...I was heading that way.. so I turned around and went a different way...

              So all is okay here.. Sorry I haven't been on I have just been really busy

                Update...Virginia had 6 tornado's hit... Which is so rare.. And one DID hit in my town... I didn't know that.. It was over by my Chiropractor where I had been about an hour and a half before it it.. Actually the neighborhood it hit was where my Chiropractor lives..
