Good morning STACers. Today I crawled out of bed, day 17 for me. I am doing well these days, my appetite has really diminished as promised by ketosis. The energy is up and I am able to accomplish so much more in a day.
I am burning fat, according to keto sticks. Back to basics has worked!
But then I"VE WORKED IT. NOTHING FREEBIE HERE, I'VE PUT IN THE HARD WORK AND FOCUS. But the incredible pull of carbs has been broken. It took some time for things to start to click this time around.
Be patient. Stay focused. Keep in mind this diet is life-time with 4 levels. Going on to loose and going off to live, will cause you to GAIN. Your body metabolizes carbs in such a way that you store the excess as fat instead of burn them up. You might be addicted to them, and eat too many, and store the excess as fat.
Be patient, realize this is lifestyle. I have been in a hurry to get back to the lifestyle, the weight has and always will take care of it'self! My job is establishing a way of living LOW CARB. That's a daunting task!
