  • happy I am smoke-free...but regained the weight!!!

Here I am ...again...third time is a charm right? Well After being a pack a day plus smoker for 16 years, I kicked the habit! It feels soooo great, and then I see my ballooning body and although I ignored it for a while, and just focused on quitting smoking, it is time now to do something. I have had great success on this WOE and this board, so just looking for some support in doing it all over again! I am ready!!!!

Congratulations on quitting smoking! That's a great accomplishment. I remember before I actually quit, feeling so sad at the thought of never smoking again. I can tell you that almost 2 years later, I don't miss it one bit.

Stick to your induction, start exercising as a way to celebrate your new lung and heart HEALTH and you'll be back to your goal weight in no time at all.

Re: happy I am smoke-free...but regained the weight!!!

Just wanted to say from one ex smoker to another...congratulations. Previously I used to focus on how long I had smoked (21 years) now I forgot all that. I only seem to focus on the smoke free years! And the FREEDOM!

That is awesome that you quit!
I smoked for 9 years (from 12 to 21) and I've never once regretted stopping.

I smell them now and can't believe I ever picked them up to begin with...

Don't worry about the weight gain, Atkins will take care of all that
It's good to see you back!

Make sure you do the daily roll calls
