      Good morning, everyone! I am feeling somewhat better. Still congested, but most of my voice is back and I have a little energy. The weekend was too fast, especially when we did housework and yardwork all weekend.

      Was down another 2# yesterday - down to 251 - but I'm not changing my ticker because I strongly suspect that some of that weight will come back now that I'm feeling better and my appetite is returning.

      The sun is shining today - yay! But, tomorrow it's supposed to rain again. Next week they say it's supposed to be in the 80s and sunny!

        Mornin!

        Day has started off pretty swell! Lost 1 lb and weighed in at 108 this morning - yippeeeeeee

        Although I didn't go to the gym yesterday, I did run around the neighborhood and took some different trails - Felt really good.
        Today, I'm meeting a pal at the gym for some 10,10,10 (10min mile run, 10min on stairclimber on level10, 10 min on elliptical or rollerblading machine), upper body resistance and another round of 10,10,10, before we have to go pick up our 4 year olds from school.

        Rest of the day is wide open - although I might have to buy a new chair for my dining room table - Camden, my 4 year old, broke two spindles off from Daddy'O's chair - not sure if I can repair it?

          Okay,
          So for the hundredth time now, I'm starting over--again. I was weak enough to let a friend of mine make me think that I could actually lose weight by going low fat and low cal, but I know better. It never works for me, but this does!! I can't believe I'm starting over when I have so many stressful things-which I will share later-are fixing to take place, but there's no time like the present!! Not to mention my 10th anniversary is in August and that is definitely some motivation for me. So, with that said, I'm back. Looking forward to meeting everyone! Have a great day.

            Hi everyone! I'm new here... I used Atkins to lose baby weight 6 years ago and successfully kept it off (and lost more) with a low/healthy carb lifestyle. I got to the point that I didn't even need to restrict or count carbs as long as I was choosing healthy ones. However, I quit smoking 4 months ago and let myself eat what I wanted, when I wanted. I chose the lesser of two evils and went after danishes and cookies when I had a bad craving for cigarettes. Needless to say, I have packed on quite a few lbs since. I decided a few days ago to go through induction again and officially started yesterday morning. I'm starting at 132 lbs and have a goal weight of 115.

              hello everyone. back in town after being away for the weekend. stayed on plan. had some seasoned taco meat that i bet had some unwanted sugars in it, but i'm just moving foward and drinking lots of water!

                Brussell79 - Welcome back! You know this works! Stay strong and keep us posted. P.S. you're gonna have to say goodbye to those tasty Mike's Hard Lemonades...sigh. I haven't had a good drink in a long long time. hahaha.

                ECWhite25 - Welcome! Good luck on your journey! CONGRATS on quitting smoking. That is an amazing accomplishment. Keep in mind if you can kick the addiction of cigarrettes, you'll be able to kick the addiction of sugar/caffeine/bad carbs in no time! Keep us posted!

                I'm doing well today. Last night was very stressful work night. I was too busy to eat my dinner unfortunately. I was able to snack a little bit but I know I didn't get all my veggies and carbs in yesterday. I'm down 2 more lbs. though, that's a great sign cause I'm not only closer to my next mini goal but I'm also no longer stalled....I think it's because Mitzi convinsed me to eat my veggies! haha. Anyway, I hurt my hip last night a work so I'm going to take it easy today (at work, haha) and hopefully I'll get my workout in tomorrow. HOpe everyone has a great day!

                  Hello everyone-
                  Didn't lose anything over the weekend, and am having the hardest time getting 'in the pink'- but I did spend some time pre-cooking some 'clean meat' packets for my dinner at work this week- I know I've been eating too many processed meats which = salt, so some of this is just water weight (but as my mother always says 'water weight fills out jeans just as much as any other kind of weight')
                  Focus today- it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle choice. . . .
