  • June 7th - Roll Call!

    Well guys I'm getting ready for the market - it is supposed to be 97 degrees today and it's icky outside already.

    My weight is up a pound - and I think it's from my body holding every bit of moisture it can.

    I started taking vitamins this week again and feel better because of it. I'm tryin got the 5-htp because it says it is supposed to help you sleep. I hope it starts working soon - LOL.

    Well off to fill up a gallon container with water to take with me today - maybe I'll lose the pound in the sweat - LOL

    Good morning Stacers!

    I'm getting ready for the heatwave that is suppose to hit. On track with food & H20 but exercise is taking a back seat. Busy with the family which is no excuse~~~back on track today!

      Good afternoon from Spain! I looked at myself in the mirror and I notice a change! I think I look a bit thinner... Clothing is starting to fit better. I am SO happy and motivated!

      We have such a wonderful sunny day today. I think I'm going out for a long stroll with my baby later on, when the sun turns less intense.

        Raining here. DD is in a jr triathlon so that should be fun in the rain...LOL...NOT! Day 6 for me and still doing well. Am so looking forward to weigh day on Monday.

        Was surprised to find the board up and running. What a great bunch of techies we have!!!

          Hi everyone! Checking in for roll call.
          I feel much better today, so far....I'm able to sooth my tummy with some warm broth, which helps a lot! Other then always having an upset tummy, I'm doing pretty well. As of yesterday, I have lost a total of 12 pounds, and started June 1st. I'm not getting on the scales again until the 15th, like I'm suppose to....

            I'm down today! Finally, I'm back to what I was before I allowed myself to have cake on my fiance's bday... 5 DAYS AGO.

            I will NOT be cheating again! I can't believe how my weight shot up so fast and it took 5 friggin days to come back off...

            But it's off

            And I am well today and will stay on track all day

              I re-started again about a week ago. I think I'm at an all-time high weight right now and not fitting into my size 18s. I don't know how many times I've re-started, but I do know low-carbing is just plain the only way of life that works for me and my body. I'm trying to do easy workouts that won't make me feel burned out and dreading my workouts. I've been walking on my treadmill, doing low impact easy aerobics, hikes, etc. I've set just one workout rule for myself, minimum 20 minutes of exercise 6 days a week. No matter how I feel I just have to get through that 20 minutes. I've added more time to my aerobics and add light weights, but still let myself go back to the 20 minutes when needed. I've been sticking to this workout schedule for a couple of months without losing weight, but I didn't let that stop me. Now I just need to stick to good foods and it will all fall into place. Wish me luck!

                Day 6 here... checking in, feeling good. Its going to be hot and humid here all weekend. Nothing real big going on though.

                      Well here I am....again. I had a bit of a hickup (how do you spell that word?) and I'm starting again today. So far so good. I'm having this weird craving for tuna with butter mixed into it.....strange.....

                        hi all-
                        late check-in for me, but today is day 7. doing great, eating on plan. i sweat buckets today doing yardwork in 95 degree heat.

                        i'm really feeling good these days. no heartburn, no reflux, more energy and decreased appetite. thank you dr. atkins!

                          Hey Tomorrow...it is hiccup...and I would go with that craving!! Crazy darn bad puter day for me. I am not sure how much longer it will last. I am busy trying to save everything I want saved inbetween freezings. So not too good on my water or menu today but stayed legal. SIGH!

                            Hi, I just have to say the tuna mixed with butter (and a bit of lemon juice) wrapped in huge romaine lettuce leaves was great! I couldn't eat it all so I shared with my husband. He always loses weight when I'm "doing" Atkins.

                            I hate saying that....let's go with....following this WOE.....or.....living this WOL.
