Re: 10 pounds down first week!
Wow that is alot of weight, and I know you are soooo excited. It will probably slow down and might even hault for a bit, but just stick to the daily plans and it will eventually move again. The body gets funny when we start burning it's fat off. I've seen it so often after a huge loss, everybody waits for more good news and then the trickle begins. But truth be told, most people loose it in a trickle slow way...Dr A says that's the best way, that which does go off slowly will probably stay off...
Keep your eyes on that lifestyle not the weightloss....that's tough to do because we so want to loose, but you have to maintain the way of eating to keep it off down the road.74 8/1/06

Re: 10 pounds down first week!
Lisa...LOL...
Thanks Monie...your turn is coming...I am excited already for you!
Outback Jess...thanks for the words. I know the second week is slower. I actually posted about that along with my results in induction hoping it will give the newbies a heads up. I will be happy if I can get 3 more pounds out of induction. But it will be what it is meant to be. I am also going away this weekend for a 3 day hotel stay so that will be the real test. I may not even get the 3 pounds as I have no control of what has been added to the food. But will do my best and deal with it.
Thanks Kirsty....cute baby!
Thanks again Canela!Elsie150
