  • I am happy again!

Today I feel great! I met my colleagues at work today (I am on maternity leave) and EVERYONE told me that I look great and noticed that I have lost weight! The sensation is SO wonderful! It had been such a long time since I had this feeling. In fact, this morning I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed a difference, so I measured myself and realized that I have lost more cms off my waist and hips. So, ladies and gentelmen, I must say that I learning to love myself again and love the good changes going on my body. The best part of it all is that I know THIS is the time when I am really taking control.

Just needed to share my success

That's terrific! Congratulations. Those comments can really keep you motivated. There's nothing like that good feeling of knowing that what you are doing really is making a difference. It is just hard to see from day to day. I would say have a great day, but sounds like you are already having one! LOL Jill

          Re: I am happy again!

Thank you all for your wonderful words of support! You know, sometimes I hear some overweight ppl's stories stating that they feel happy being that way and that they love the way they look and stuff. In my case, I have to admit that I *need* to be thin to feel beautiful. Inside beauty is the most important thing in the world, that's for sure. But, looks are very important for me. I am that superficial
