  • Wow, I almost blew it!

Whew! I can't believe I dodged that bullet!

I was moving along great. All six days not a wrinkle....and then....

All of a sudden this afternoon I lost it. I couldn't get enough to eat and I had that gnawing crawling feeling I get when I need to gorge on sugar and carby foods. I was getting more miserable by the minute. I had a list of all the things I was going to go out and get (I won't list them here because I'm sure every one of us could fill in that blank).

But I didn't. I talked about it to my husband for half and hour and talked myself all the way around and out of it. I don't even know how it happened. All of a sudden I was feeling much better and heading to the kitchen to make a chicken Caesar salad! It was the darnedest thing. It was huge and totally on plan and I had to share it because it was too much for me.

Now I'm full again and feeling fine. I have no idea what that was, but I'm so grateful I didn't give in to it!

If there's a patron saint for low carbers, he/she was definitely watching out for me today!

    =) Yay!
That happens to me, though not to such a great extent, if I eat too much veggies in one sitting. I have a feeling it is going to take a really long time to overcome that. BLAH.

Good for you! You must feel great today for having "survived" without succumbing. And now you have more fuel the next time it hits because you know it will pass and you know that evil carb temptor doesn't control you.
