    Wow, I can't believe I'm actually the first one here today. This early rising is becoming a habit.

    Well, I'm hoping for a better day today. I'm heading into the city for a quick meeting at work and then hopefully going to the gym. I've had the membership for a few months, but only gone once. Mostly because of the distance I have to go. The one closest to me is horrible. When we move at the end of the month I'll be closer to a different one, so I'm hoping that one is better.

        Let's make this a Lucky Friday the 13th! I slept late--today is a cardio rest day. Felt nice not to semi-open my eyes and immediately start pulling on workout gear. I have bounced back three pounds up from a low point a week ago but I got on the scale today and I am 238. This is good. It means my body will settle into 237 again soon. I forgot about my weird bounce thing until yesterday, but it used to happen to me a lot the first time around. Am sticking to the WOE like glue. Have decided to remain at rung one for a long long time and see what happens.

          Good Morning All

          Just checking in for the day. Got up and went to spinning... I feel so good. Working out is Awesome! Storms here again today.. Hopefully we won't lose power again.

            It's going to be a VERY lucky Friday the 13th for me, cuz I'm BACK! I started again on Wednesday; so far, cheat free.

            I HAVE to do this. I am so thoroughly disgusted with myself for gaining this weight back that I've been really struggling. However, I do have to say I've crossed a milestone there too. I was literally laying awake at night beating myself up for being such a fat loser. Every day, I'd get up with good intentions and before 9 or 10 a.m., I had already blown it. And then of course, I had a great excuse to be even WORSE that day (I blew it today, so what the heck?). I was to the point of SNEAKING food again; would stop at the gas station on the way home and buy junk food and then eat dinner. I'd even sneak around at work trying to hide the cookie that I bought (what makes us do that anyway?) Tuesday was the last straw. I ate a sandwich and chips for lunch, 2 candy bars in the afternoon, stopped and bought a bag of combos AND twizzlers and ate them on the way home. Got home and wolfed down dinner then felt like a total toad.

            I laid awake that night thinking...girl, you have got to take control. You CAN control yourself, you MUST control yourself. Do you want to look in the mirror and be disappointed every single day? Do you want to have heartburn and generally feel like crap every day? Do you want to be embarassed to see old friends (had a episode with that a few weeks ago...I almost didn't GO because I felt so self-conscious)? And of course, the answer was NO. SO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...quit whining to yourself.

            The answer was to come back to this WOE/WOL. I know I will feel better, look better, have more confidence...it effects every aspect of my life.

            So I'll do my best to post every day and draw the strength that I know I can from this board. I thank you all in advance for your support cuz I know it will be here.

              I'm with you, Friday 13th is a lucky day. Any day I can get out of bed is a blessed day!

              Exercise is done for the day. I even made me a loaded omlete with zucchnini, mushrooms, and a little cheddar cheese. Talk about filling and ready for the day. I'm ready to take on the rest of it!

                  Good Morning!
                  Just having a quiet day today... still recovering from major surgery, but also thankful for how good I feel all things considered. My cousin is here. She and my dd are cooking up a storm and they're making me totally hungery! I'm starved! ha! Maybe I'll dig around and find some salad. Hanging out with my feet up... trying to be good food wise. The steroids make me hungry all the time. But trying to choose the right foods that are healing and healthy... so.. anyways. just saying hi... have a great day!

                    Well I had an accidently oopsie today.. My daughter and I went to a restaurant.. I got a Salad.. I asked her to get me a Diet Coke from the machine..well she brought it back it was all clear.. Coke was out.. So I asked her to go to the other machine to get me a Diet Coke... So she did.. Well she came back I drank it and not paying attention.. I was almost at the end of the drink and I said.. hmm this doesn't taste like Diet Coke (cause I really don't like it) but the water at this place is nasty... I got almost to the end and I said OH MY Did you accidently get me ROOT BEER!!! So I think that is what I had..

                    BUT BUT BUT.. I didn't not make that a right to cheat the rest of the day!

                      good for you sandy. stay strong and make good choices for the rest of the day and so forth. i know how hard it is--with me, when it rains it POURS!!! one small thing always leads to something even worse.
