  • Roll Call 6/14/08

    Good Morning everyone... Figured I start the roll call this morning. I am sick of getting up at 5:30...The neighbors rooster crows..then the outside dog starts barking and then my inside dog starts barking....GRRRR Making me mad.

    I am starting to get some energy back and it feels good.

    Had a little mess up yesterday with a drink I had..that wasn't my fault but I kept on and didn't give myself permission to mess up.

    Today is Satuday....I have a birthday party to go to today. Only thing they will have is Hotdogs and Hamburgers that I can eat.

    good morning to everyone. i have completed my pushups for the day and i am gonna post them. 5 sets today.......150 push-ups

    set 1 - 50 push-ups
    set 2 - 40 push-ups
    set 3 - 30 push-ups
    set 4 - 20 push-ups
    set 5 - 10 push-ups

    doing 50 straight is actually pretty good for me.....but i am not yet where i want to be

      I also have a family cook out to attend. It is a welcome home for my son & his family. I plan on taking a low carb cole slaw to help me stay away from my mother's kick a$$ potato salad!

        Hi all. I'm still here but was so busy yesterday that I didn't get online at all. I've lost the half a pound that showed up on the scale as a gain on Thrusday. It was probably just water weight because I was legal all week.

        Hope all of you have a great day. Lets watch those carbs!

          Morning!!

          I have a busy day ahead.. I will be setting up and taking down tent's, tables and chairs all day. Andy Ross Charity Motorcycle Ride My Husband is a professional Fire/Medic here. So, At least I will get some kind of exercise in today

          Just like everyone else so far, I am stuck with what they give me to eat today. I think they have BBQ pork sandwiches. I am going to pack some legal snacks for me in my cooler. Well, I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day.

            Good morning everyone! I guess I don't really have too much to say except have a great day! Oh ya, and I hope it doesn't rain today and the wind dies down a bit so I can ride my bike, or even walk the dog, or both!

              I wasn't up as early as I would like but got out there and melted this morning. Already got in about 6.5 miles so I can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and vegging out a bit this morning. Had a good scale day. I am back at 237 after a short bounce up of unkown origin. Have a great weekend everyone.

                Happy Saturday!

                Feeling good this morning - kids actually slept in till 6am - OMG!

                Going to spin class in a little bit. Worked my legs, abs and had spin class yesterday, so I'm a little sore today - it feels nice though

                Anyone planning any fun Fathers Day stuff for tomorrow? I think we are doing a whole lotta nothing! Actually, we are going to take the urchins to see a movie, hang out at the pool and hubby is playing in a poker tournament - sounds like a swell day to me!

                    Well I actually got my bike ride in before the rain came! I'm soooo happy. I also found out that I've been riding further than I thought. I bought a new odometer for my bike a few days ago and was able to get a proper distance. It's 4 miles round trip instead of 3, so my mileage for June is actually higher than I thought. Yeah!

                      Good morning!

                      We went to a college gradutation last night and then I walked 8.5 miles for a Walk for Cancer with a friend over night from 10:30 until about 1:30 this morning. Then I crawled into bed and didn't get up until about 8:30...I could easily go back to bed right now if it weren't for the fact that we have to go to her graduation bbq in about a half hour. I may take a cat nap and be fashionably late! I'm sure she's probably doing the same right now since I know they didn't get home until 7am!

                      Tomorrow were going to my parents for a huge Father's Day bbq in the afternoon...that should be interesting.

                        hello everyone, it's a late check in here for me. i have been doing well so far, it's two more day until my official first weigh in. i'm excited to see the results, i can tell that my body is transforming. i'm fitting into clothing that was either too tight, or not able to wear at all before i started induction. that is a real motivator for me.

                        i up'ed my walk today, and walked twice as long as i usually do. i didn't get to walk the last 2 days, so it felt really good to get out and get moving. before i started induction(june 2nd) i wasn't getting any exercise at all, and now i am trying to exercise atleast some everyday. even if i don't walk i atleast do my challenge exercises and added some other exercises as well. the place i walk is only about 3/4 of a mile(one trip around the sub-division by my house) and today i walked it twice. i know to some that may not seem like much, but to me it's quite a bit. eventually i hope to be able to walk it 5 or more times around as i build my endurance up.

                          Well re checking back in.. I made it through the birthday party...cheat free.. I walked by the cake so many times and the other stuff and was tempted to cheat...but I just kept on walking.. My new pants are so loose on me today.. Ugh.. I just bought these

                            Good for you Sandy!! I also passed by the potato salad & pasta salad & the chips. Then my mom brings out the homeade cream puffs~~~passed those up also. My son ate mine. He said he's been waiting 3 years to have his Grandmother's cream puffs!! Great day but I'm exhausted!
