I think you are prolly struggling with PISS and letting it get you down. Stay off the scale after your two week induction for another two weeks or maybe longer. Just keep your eyes on the prize.

Re: HELP!! I don't know if I can do this...

The last time I tried, I moved onto OWL after the two weeks. I think that I got too relaxed. Also, I read the book and realized that I could have "low" carb bars. I won't do that again. Not only did I pay the sugar alcohol price, but I think it raised my blood sugar thus making me crave sugar. I have never resorted to using the bars before but I had an event that I was planning and needed something to eat quickly.

Illy, I will definitely be exercising more as well. I found that when I exercised, I always gained about 2 to 3 lbs. that day. I know that it was because I was gaining in muscle but seeing the numbers go back up was just torture. I have to approach this like it is a lifestyle change and not just a get-slim-quick scheme. I actually love exercise but with the high gas prices, I quit the gym. I was paying more getting to the gym than I was on my membership. I have to get a good home routine going (which will probably be difficult with a 25 mos. and 13 mos. old). But, I will succeed. I just have to be consistent. I think that is the most important thing...being consistent for a long period of time!

Yep, the low carb bars kill my weight loss every time. I will keep a protein bar in my purse so if I am out and on the go all day I have something legal with me (in China I can be om the road for 5 or 6 hours) but it is always a last resort item for me.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Re: HELP!! I don't know if I can do this...

Sometimes I'll buy the bars and cut them up into 12 little pieces and keep them in a container in the fridge. If I feel I need something out of the ordinary, I'll pop a piece or two. I don't use them for meal replacements though. Mostly because my mind can't make the switch and see it as meal time food. Weird.
