    Good morning Stacers!!

    A beautiful day here in Vermont! Working only half a day & then the rest of the day is all mine!! Exercise is on the agenda~~~not an option!! After not losing any pounds for quite some time the metal monster finally showed a 3.4# loss despite TOM knocking on the door. Exercise & being diligent with the food is what kicked in the loss!! I'm excited & super motivated!!

    Have a wonderful day & do something kind for yourself today!!

    Hello All! I wasn't going to start the thread this morning in case I wrote the wrong month again!

    I weighed this morning for the first time after my two week mishap...I was up five pounds! TOM should start any moment as well so I'm hoping that has something to do with it but really I know I'm just dealing with the consequences of cheating! On top of that I've got a job interview today so I'm really nervous! Wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes!

      Good Morning.. Doing great here.... For those that don't know I work part time in the Dining Hall of a Christian Campground.. Well today I have to work. Its not an easy place to work on Atkins..but we do have a Big Salad bar that we always have out.. So I asked what is for dinner.. Chicken Tenders tonight.. UGH.. I love those things.. Not sure if I can peel the breading off on them or not.. But will sure try.. But just in case I will take a hamburger that I have in the Freezer with me.. and break it up over a Salad...

          day 18 for me. the scale's been stubborn with me, too, but i keep telling myself that if i stick to this, it will work eventually.

              Hello! I am here. Somewhat at a normal time today too...

              I've been staying on track... but I'm gaining?
              I think it's because I eat so late... dinner for me is usually 9:30pm... last night it was 10:30...

              but still I know I shouldn't be gaining on this WOE.

              I'm going to try not eating past 7 and hope that starts my loss again...

              Anyone else have this going on?

                Hi everyone,
                I got on the metal monster today too. Up 5lbs since surgery. Time to cut back and start applying what I know works to get that off plus some. Eating too many carbs for sure!

                  Looks like the scale isn't moving for many of us. I have upped my water, cut sweeteners, and have been watching my sodium. Got a small whoosh but nothing much happening. Gotta be patient!

                    Good Morning!

                    Today is my first day of induction (again) some of you guys know me as "DebonAtkins" I have been away for awhile. I didn't gain any pounds but I haven't lost any either.

                    For me the biggest obstacle has been planning, thinking ahead on my meals. I have always just winged it and it has not worked out one single time. I always end up sliding back into old patterns. So....to go with my new reslove I am actually making up my menus 2 or 3 days ahead. This will go a long way for me. The other part of failing was because I was getting bored with the food I was making. Same things over and over. Anyone is bound to get bored with that. So I have also decided to seek out new recipes and try them. Hopefully all these things I am planning will help me through this time.

                    Thanks for always being here guys. I can always depend on this place.

                    Good luck tonight on the chicken fingers. I love them too but sometimes it is hard to get that breading off. Let us know how it goes.

                      Oz -WOW! That is great...I'm thrilled for you!

                      Pls - I had a problem with gaining when I indulged with too much salami and pepperoni my first time on Atkins. Also, if it's my TOM I don't lose a pound that week. My scale sticks to a number until TOM is over.

                      This week I'm a teacher at Vacation Bible School. I'm wiped out, but filled with joy. I've been making a lot of casseroles just to make sure I don't get hungry without food being prepared. Honestly I'm getting sick of the casseroles. I'm going to throw what I have left and make a quiche. When life hands you casseroles...make quiche.

                          I am glad to know that I am not the only one who has stopped and started about 30 or 40 times. What is it that makes you go off the diet do you think? For me it is boredom and not putting in the full effort to make different foods.

                          Oh yes and my first major test is coming up here in a few minutes. We are going to the show to see the new Indiana Jones movie. I just ate a big bunless hamburger so I should be ok. The biggest obstacle will be convincing my brain that the popcorn smells like an old babies diaper or something..ewwwwwwwww The lengths you have to go through.

                            Evening everyone. My home computer is still broken so I'll be checking in pretty late everyday. Oh well.

                            Things are going alright. I'm trying to get back on track. My fridge and pantry are bare of legal foods (besides eggs). I'll be going shopping tomorrow.

                            I haven't started the excercise back up yet. Hubby had surgery on Monday, so I've been busy playing nurse with him. The baby also has a docs appointment on Thursday (here's hoping she won't have any major injury....it's explained in my journal), and then hubby has another doc appointment on Friday. I don't think I'm going to get fully back on track until this weekend/Monday. Need to step it up!

                              Well I tried and tried to pick the breading off and I got a lot off but I still ate some... That was the only thing that I had that I shouldn't have.. I didn't cheat on anything else.. They were so yummy..
