  • Roll Call June 19th, 2008

    Well I guess I will start it. I am happy to report that the scale budged for the first time in at least a month. I am fairly sure that it has been longer but using fitday it is occasionally difficult to read exact numbers. i am down to 158. And TOM is due to show up between Sunday and Tuesday. I am sure this number will be short lived and that it will be another 3 months or so before i see the scale dip below it but it is encouraging to see that no matter how frustrating weight loss can be, if you keep plugging along eventually it will happen. It make take me another 10 years to get to goal But i can do this and so can you!!!

      Hello, I'm here and doing well! I've been reading through the memorable posts section of the board and have come across some really interesting/terrible/hilarious ones! Good fun if anyone is ever looking for some distraction!

      The scale moved a bit this morning but as it is TOM I don't know if I should count it yet... Hope everyone has a great day!

            I haven't checked in awhile. I have been very discouraged and upset with myself. We have had parties around here like crazy and I have completely lost control. I have been eating cake, fried foods, Ice cream, hot fudge, dressing with sugar, marinade with sugar, no veggies. It has been really bad. Tomorrow is my birthday and of course I have a birthday cake. I am going to start fresh on strict induction Saturday. I have been very lazy and haven't exercised even. I was doing so good and now I am going down hill. I got down to 128 and now am back up 10 pounds. AHHH!

            Well, Now that I confessed... I feel better.

              Morning!

              Off to the gym I go for a workout and mom time at the spa with some girlfriends - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, relaxation.....

              I was so freaking mad last night - One of my favorite classes at the gym is Boot Camp - a kick your butt class. Last night we were informed that starting in July, Boot Camp will be a "pay class" for another $100.00 a month. BITE ME!!!!! For the love of God, how many other classes will they do that to?
              Kiss my grits!

              OK, done complaining.... Off to the gym that chaps my hiney

                Good Morning! It is a glorious day at the Jersey shore! Sunny, cool and breezy! The scale hasn't moved (no surprise since I lost three last week) but I felt so nice that as I started my walk I committed to 7.4 miles this morning (I know all the distances around me, LOL) I walked it in 1:38 which puts it at just a bit shy of 4.5 mph for the entire distance. I feel really stoked. One thing I have noticed, though...when the Gipsy Kings or Santana come on I sway bit more and do funny things with my hands. Can't help it. It's that Latin beat! I must look hilarious to all the cars going by. LOL

                  It's day six of induction for me. Going good so far. Wish it was week 12 already. (I have no patience) I was going to the gym today but got called into work. Bummer!
                  I will incorporate exercise someday....i will....i will!

                    Good morning everyone in STACland. Congrats on the job Amy! Well the scale moved for me...just in the wrong direction. Damn that TOM! Oh well, I'm not suppose to pay attention to the numbers I read between official weigh ins anyway (just log them and note the patters). Blah!

                      Good afternoon everyone! I just don't seem to be able to get posted in the mornings anymore. Too hectic!

                      Congrats on the job, Amy!

                      I'm very happy with my first week of induction but know (like so many on this board) that it will be VERY slow moving forward. Good news is I've finally started walking every day, so hopefully that will help on many levels; most of all just feeling better about myself!

                      So my mantra today is...patience, patience, patience. Keep your eye on that pole goal

                              Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii AMY CONGRATS ON YOUR JOB!!!!

                              Well today ends my two weeks and I am so happy for me!!! I lost 7 lbs so I meet my goal!!! did my 50 pushups for today just need to be frenz with my treadmill more often cant wait for July 11 in Boerne TX is the Javalina Harley show so a lot of rock bands are headin out there so I need to loss at least another 10 by then that would be rockin!!
