  • Hello back again :)

Hello everyone, I left oh I guess some where around January. Lost 40 lbs on Atkins and just could not follow the plan anymore I was burt out so to speak. Went off did my own thing watching callories, and a few local well known weight loss plans. I lost a WHOPPING 5 lbs. I have continued to exercise and lift weights. I like the muscle I have gained but there is still alot of FAT! I said well if I want to shrink the fat I have got to go back to Atkins. My body is just not responding to the other weight loss methods. So here I am I still have about 40 lbs to go till I reach my ideal weight. It has taken me a year in July to get the first 40 off so I am off to get the rest off. Atkins took the majority of that 40 off for me for the first time around so why did I leave I could not tell you. "If its not broke why fix it????" right????

Hope to get to know you all again. Wonder if there alot of new people here. I see Chris is still out there, and I saw a few posts from Brook.

Sink or swim here I go again.

    Re: Hello back again

Hey Robin, welcome back. I am new but knew Brook from another Atkins site that is old as dirt. I am back for the second time and wanted to say I had the same experience as you did. Tried WW diligently--not a single cheat, exercising 5 days a week and after three weeks I had lost a whopping 1/2 pound and all I did was think about food all day long. That was the worst part. The points were running my every waking moment. Decided to switch and lost five pounds the first week back on Atkins. I am here to stay.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

        Re: Hello back again

Hello all I'm back, did ya miss me. I did Atkins before and lost about 26lbs. I stopped because I got pregnant. Well my baby just turned a year old and it's ""Go Time"" to drop this baby weight. So I'm back. I'm officially starting at dinner time tonight.
