  • Roll Call Monday June 30th

    Good Morning Everyone. Guess I will start the roll call off. Its Monday the last day of June.. Where has the year gone by? I have made it through a zillion parties in June.. Hardly any parties in July being planned.

    Working the next three days at the camp. We are having Chicken Tenders tonight which I love..but I am taking an already cooked steak and going to throw it on my Salad

    morning all. I am doing good although exhausted. Mondays just aren't any fun. The scale has been kind over the last few days and I am sittin at 156 which is just fine by me. I need to go grocery shopping but I am not sure if I will have time to get it done today. On plan except for exercise. Trying to get back into the swing of that.

      I'm here! Had a whopper of a thunderstorm here last night. I slept late this morning since I am doing strength training today instead of walking.

        Happy Monday to you all. I am here getting ready to go the gym. Thats all I have planned today thankfully. I do need to mow the yard but ugh its already pretty humid out. Ok just ate and I am outa here. Every one have a great day.

            Morning all!

            Feeling pretty awful this morning.. We had a BBQ at our house for the employees of the liquor store that we own. It was fat fest city! I ate so many stinking cookies, I thought I was going to vomit. Needless to say, I feel like crap today. I am on my way to the gym to run like the flipping wind

            Hope everyone has a super swell day!

              Hi all, I'm still here and doing fine. I signed up for the 6WEC and am really motivated to exercise everyday. It was just what I needed to get me started again.

                I'm here too...I'm fighting complacency and reminding myself I'm no where near my goal to think about making changes past just sticking to Induction at the moment. My weight stayed the same while camping, though. That's a good thing for me!

                  Good morning everyone! Today's the last day of June and I only have 1 more minute of my exercise goals to go....that darn plank! Oh well, I had 2 left this morning and did 1 of them already. Whew.

                  I'm convinced all this exercise and weight loss stuff is like having another full time job. Well, have a great day everyone!

                    Good Morning Everyone!

                    It's good to be back at work today, if only to be able to log-in and say hi. I need to mess with the settings on my home computer because I can read all the messages but am not able to log-in for some reason.

                    Well, we are still waiting to hear a response to the offer we made on a house last week. We should hear something today. It has me on pins and needles wondering what will happen. The house is perfect for us, so I hope we get it. I'm also really exhausted of the whole process and want to be done with it!

                    I'm here and OP. Going to work-out tonight and go shopping for groceries tomorrow. DBF is now going to join me in induction, so tomorrow will be Day 1 for him!

                      I was a poster here for a little while a year or so ago. I had restarted Atkins back then after some health issues, and though I tried hard, those issues came back and now I am almost back to the starting point again.

                      So today I am day one of induction after a LONG HAUL! But the doctor cleared me to start again and so I am.

                      I just had an abdominal surgery on June 16th. (I have endometriosis and They had to take my Ovaries) and although I cannot lift anything over 5 pounds for the next 6 weeks, I can walk again! so I am back at it!

                      Looking forward to posting with all of you again!

                        Welcome back! Wishing you great health and much success with the plan. You seem incredibly motivated and that will help immensely. Your courage in dealing with some pretty difficult health issues only goes to show you can definitely do this!

                              Present and accounted for. I find myself 'drifting' today. In other words, I really wanted to stray today. I haven't, but in my head I WANTED to. Definitely a danger sign that I'm going to have to keep my fingers on. Can't figure out WHY I want to cheat/drift/go off plan/whatever you want to call it. It disturbs me.

                              More water, stay busy, keep the end game in mind...any other words of wisdom out there?
