  • Roll Call 07/03

    Woke up this morning after a short much appreciated night. Today is the last of the work week for me, yeahhhh. The 4th is tomorrow and my daughter and I are looking for some that is not schedule around the cookout. Im doing great on Induction as far as allowable foods but today Im gonna make sure I get in my water, no excuses. I hope everyone has a great day, little or no stress, and feels lots of happiness.

    Good morning everybody. I just came in from a bike ride, and feel tingly great all over! It's amazing that exercise can empower me so much. The more I exercise, the more my body is craving healthy food choices. I find that remarkable...instinctively my body is asking for things that make it run better and better.

      I'm on day 1 of a 4 day weekend! Plans for a walk this morning & then playing with the grandkids this afternoon.

        good morning! day 2 of starting again for me. yesterday was a huge psychological hurdle that i cleared. making it through that first day and choosing not to eat like crap. i know what do to, my body likes it, and once i get back in my groove things just fall into place!

        so i'm off to work (for the last day of the week yay!) for now. have a great day everyone!

          Morning all!

          Hubby took the day off, so he's hanging with the chitlins for a while this morning... I am going to go run some trails, come home, get ready to take the kiddies to see WallE - I'm so excited!

          Talked to Sebastian yesterday (he's in Indiana with his dad) I miss the little nerdling! When I told him I missed him, he said he missed me too! Made my WHOLE week! He said he was listening to his Ipod and the music from the movie "Into the Wild" was playing and it reminded him of home. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, my baby misses me

          I think I am going to make the commitment to spin class and buy the shoes. When the kids nap, I'm going to go to REI and check out the cycling shoes - always exciting to buy shoes (and purses, and clothes, and home stuff and... )

            Good Morning

            I am struggling really bad lately! I am giving in and eating whatever I feel like. I haven't been exercising like I should be either. I feel like a total LOSER! I need to start taking control again. I will try my best to have a clean induction starting tomorrow.. I already screwed up today.

              Hi everyone!

              Mimom...you can do it! Grab ahold of that motivation and take ONE DAY AT A TIME. And remember, we're all in this together.

              I'm looking forward to a long weekend. Our guests from Belgium will be leaving today as well, so it's a big sigh of relief. It's always a lot more work when we have guests from abroad. (I'm on an global project that interacts mostly with Europe). It's been a successful trip. We played miniature golf and went to dinner last night...it was a blast. I do have to admit that I drank a margarita...couldn't resist...but other than that, on plan. I refuse to beat myself up about it, which is a huge accomplishment for me. I'm an expert at beating myself up.

              Have a good one. If you aren't posting tomorrow, HAPPY 4th of JULY!

                  Hi guys thought I would check in its been pretty busy around here. We are planning a trip to Boston in a few weeks. So I have been trying to get hotel reservations etc. On plan all is well with that, having chicken wings tonight for dinner. Yummy. Scale is moving oh so slowly but at least its moving in the right direction.

                      Actually NOT a "second time around"er... more like a 4th or 5th time around-er.

                      So what do you all do? How does this work? I noticed a new "roll call" page every day? Are there challenges in here? What are some of your favorite threads?

                            I'm here. Still going great!! I am going to a Bonfire Party tomorrow, and I am not even worried about what to eat!! They are having deep fried turkey, with garlic butter marinade! YUMMY!! I am so excited. Happy 4th everybody!

                              Hi Becky.. You are welcome to post here.. Basically people check in every day or whenever you can... it helps to keep you accountable. I do not even know how many timer I am.. I have lost count..
