  • Question..

    Anyone got any good ways to get rid of water weight? I had some bacon the other day and Im really holding allot of water due to that. Im drinking more to try and flush it out but its not really going away. I was wondering if you ladies had any ideas of a good way to get it moving.
    36 year old Female - 5'8
    New start on Atkins 3/8/2010 Start weight 175 lbs.
    Goal weight 145 lbs
    Mini goal #1-170 lbs - Reached 3/15/2010
    Mini goal #2-165 lbs -
    Mini goal #3-160 lbs -
    Mini goal #4-155 lbs -
    Final goal of 145 "COMING SOON"

    Sounds like that brand of bacon is off your shopping list for good. Aside from making sure you're drinking your water (you are), exercise. 30+ minutes of continous exercise will help a lot. You have to stay hydrated though. It's important to flush it all out while you're working it out. You could also have an allergic reaction, TOM bloating, or something else. If it does't go away after 5 days (usual TOM or allergic reaction time from my experience), check with your doctor

      Stay hydrated and eat some cabbage which is a natual dieuretic (sp?) It may take a few days to get it moving but be patient it will go!!!!

          The Chinese swear by green tea as a diuretic. I have to admit, I don't feel bloated after I have had a few cups.
