  • Back from the beach

I'm back from Pass A Grille and I must say I'm so proud of myself. Life is good.

I took all the stuff I wrote about in the beach snacks thread. We got there and went to Publix.

Wednesday night we grilled out bratwurst and weiners. I had them and a salad. Yum.

Thursday and Friday morning I got up and cooked bacon and eggs for all of us.

For lunch I had either tuna/chicken/egg salad and pork rinds.

My snack was celery with cream cheese. I never knew that was so good.

Last night we ate out and I had a bunless cheeseburger with a side of veggies. A very small side of veggies. :-(

Lunch yesterday was salad and chicken salad that I made.

This morning we went to Cracker Barrel and I had the double meat breakfast.

I'm really proud! My friends were eating some crap and I didn't look twice at it.

One of my friends told me she was doing an Atkins Induction. She "mostly" did but she had some WW yogurt and also a couple of mojitos and a couple of other drinks.

I was thinking that she won't lose weight and she'll say, "Well, I tried Atkins and it doesn' t work." Sigh.

Good for you Kelly. Sounds like your preplanning paid off! and don't you feel great for making it through without undoing your hard work?

Preplanning is the key. I wasn't caught off guard and I had no excuse for eating any crap. Plus I had lots of choices. I wasn't deprived...
