I originally frequented this board in 2005 but fell off the wagon. I had a baby in 2006. Here I am in 2008 at my heaviest weight ever. I'm now buying plus size clothing, which I never had to do before I got pregnant this last time, so I'm feeling old (40), fat, and dumpy. I started the year at 197 lbs on my 5 foot 4 inch frame. When I started Atkins on July 5th, I was at 190 lbs. I had managed to lose 10 lbs earlier in the year following Weight Watchers, but I was starving, so I cheated a lot and eventually fell off that wagon too. I like Atkins because I feel full, and when I'm full I don't cheat.
My DH is following Atkins with me, but he's not as into reading about it as I am. He did read the induction food list, but basically relies on me to tell him what's legal. So, I'm getting support, in that he's not sabotaging me and he's following along too, but he's no expert on the program.
So, here we are. Oh, and I'm going to the movies with my sister tomorrow. One of my favorite foods in the whole world is movie theater popcorn. So, I'm gonna fill up before I go on something with fat in it so I'm not tempted.
